Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I had a giide Jean who was sensational. His attention to me as his guest and his ability to translate in real time were way above expectations and he knew his stuff. He is an indigenous man from near Leticia and he lives in the jungle.

We did 5 days 4 nights. Good value for money. Alain was our guide and v knowledgeable has been doing it for a long time and we saw a lot of wildlife. Marou the boat driver is a gem. George also helped us get the boat to Iquitos after our tour and personally took us to Santa Rosa and showed us how to do everything which we would have been very confused without - very helpful!

The Most Wonderful Experience Ever. Everything was perfect from start to finish, our guide Alcibiades was just amazing as were Anderson and El Capitan. Probably one of the best things I've ever done in my life are swimming in the Amazon at sunset and sleeping in a hammock in the jungle. Met some lovely people and would go back tomorrow if I could.

I was with a 5yo daughter and bff. It was a perfect time. A lot of activities: jungle walking, night walks, sleeping in the jungle (woken up by monkeys), watching pink dolphins, fishing the Amazon, night trips down the river.
Still, we had a lot of time to chill and enjoy just being there, swinging in the hammocks.
Great, simple and tasty food, there was no problem with vegan diet.
We stayed at the Ticuna village at Peru side of the river, and got a very warm welcome.
Tomás is a great guide, he took care of everything. For example he organised for us to come back from the camp in the jungle in case my daughter wouldn't like to stay there all night. I didn't ask for that, still, he prepared it all. Instead she enjoyed it a lot, and there was no need for the two of us to come back to the village.
Tomás has an incredible knowledge, we were shown and told about so many species of animals and trees, as well as about herbs and poisonous plants.
He also told us great stories - local legends, beliefs and traditions.
I loved also the respect for the ambient - he wanted to show us animals in their natural habitat, so there were no semi domesticated monkeys or touching sloths.
Tomas speaks English, Spanish, Portuguese and several other languages. 🙂 and has a great sense of humour.
I have fallen in love with the jungle and the people that we met there.
For sure we will come back, but this time will stay much longer than only 5 days.

We had a nice time in the Amazon. The agency organized everything during our trip and we just had to enjoy and relax.
Activities, guides, food and hotels were amazing and the agency took into account our requests.
We would come back next year, it is a beatiful and magical place.

I had to book a new day trip just the evening before. This tour agency was still open, and I got a basic tour of Monkey Island, Ingenious community, Puerto Narino (including lunch) plus seeing pink dolphins on the boat trip.

They only speak Spanish, so had to have outside help to book the tour. And the beginning was a bit confused, because it was unclear who I should follow and people were getting on and off boats. But otherwise a very good trip, and just as agreed. Also affordable, just 130.000 COP.
