Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great little spot, convenient for Leticia, lots of medicinal plants, interesting guides. A little expensive by Colombian standards.

Amazing experience! Everyone who works in the reserve are lovely. Special thank you to Adriana our amazing translator for the trip and Alex who introduced us to the traditions of his people.

We were collected from the airport and driven to the reserve which is 11km outside of leitica. In the reserve we stayed one night in a treehouse and two nights in a two-story cabin. Both were lovely and had mosquito nets over the beds. The bathrooms are as you would expect for the middle of the jungle but you don’t have to worry about soap as they give you both soap and towels. The showers are cold but it’s so hot in the jungle we were super happy about this. The food is great! Classic Amazonian and they do cater to food preferences ( one of our group was celiac so couldn’t eat gluten).

We did tour 8 with the company and I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to have an unique experience in Amazon.

At first glimpse, Parque Santander looks much like any other tropical park. But at 5.30pm every day this humble park is completely transformed.

This is when the otherworldly bird show at Parque Santander, from 5.30pm each night, begins. Many thousands (I cannot stress how many thousands, it is so many) of parrots come home to roost in the park, it’s more incredible than you can imagine (or than I can explain here)

It's a small museum, but it packs a lot of information in. I took lots of notes and photos. There's also a pretty garden outside, with a further exhibit.

Pretty little church inside and out. The tower is the perfect place to watch the parrots and swallows come home to roost around 5:30 pm.

Me and two friends visited here on a day we had spare in Leticia. The guide was super helpful, informative and all the workers were all very friendly.
It is a beautiful place to spend a couple of hours and to learn more about native plants and animals.
We would definitely recommend coming here to see the nature they have to offer, the highlights for us were the pygmy monkeys!

TAKE CARE - DONT GO BY YOURSELF TO ANY MALOKA

We live in a VERY delicate situation there. The grandparents were not there, only men, young people, they convinced us to take "medicine" by eating the leaves of the floripondio/borrachero/angel trumpet, one of the people did not want to and Danny persuaded her to do it, "a leaf" and once there was eaten persuaded her to eat more. Finally, what he wanted was to sexually abuse me, when inquiring with people in Leticia they mention that this has happened before and they see it as something normal.
