With the guidance and knowledge of our fantastic private guide, Allain, we had the opportunity to camp in the jungle, immerse ourselves in a local indigenous community, learn about local fauna and animals, and even plant our own açaà trees! I will never forget seeing and interacting with so many wild insects, animals, and fish. The Amazon is an amazing place and I highly recommend this eco tour for responsible tourism in a place that needs to be protected now more than ever! A very good guide who took us to 4 stations explaining how the natives live along the amazon. You can take a tour or go on your own. Pay 10,000 pesos per station. There are also hiking trails. We were collected from the airport and driven to the reserve which is 11km outside of leitica. In the reserve we stayed one night in a treehouse and two nights in a two-story cabin. Both were lovely and had mosquito nets over the beds. The bathrooms are as you would expect for the middle of the jungle but you don’t have to worry about soap as they give you both soap and towels. The showers are cold but it’s so hot in the jungle we were super happy about this. The food is great! Classic Amazonian and they do cater to food preferences ( one of our group was celiac so couldn’t eat gluten).

We loved all activities, Our guide, Gilbert made a fantastic job and Señora Heidi has cooked great food. When the staff made a mistake on cost of drinks - they apologized and made it right. They have foo foo drinks if that is what you want - or just a beer or mixed drink. - Melissa2 contributionsI had a very great tour with Oxigeno Amazonas. Karla was very nice and responded right away when I messaged asking about the tour. She also helped me a lot with other things I needed in Puerto Nariño. Romani was an extremely good guide, with a lot of knowledge of the jungle. He was aware of my level of Spanish and explained everything perfectly so I could understand. He taught me some new words too! I had a lot of fun and had great experiences. They were warm, friendly, super helpful and made every effort to make our experience as fun as possible. When we couldn’t find a cayman Alex leapt onto the riverbank and after searching in the water, found one to show us before he gently let it go.
