Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Our tour group stopped here after our visit to the Meteora monasteries. We were given a demonstration of how they made some of their religious icons. The store was well stocked with all sorts of religious icons. There was no pressure to buy anything. I did buy a really good book containing photos and information on the monasteries of Meteora for only 2 euros.

This place is amazing, and the shop owners are indescribably delightful. I came in looking for as locally sourced Mati, the Evil Greek Eye, as possible, and they did not disappoint. Prices are very reasonable, and the friendliness can’t be beat. My tour guide even said he knows where to take his clients in the future. Stop in and say hi, and look around. If they don’t have what you want, they will point you in the right direction. I wanted a painting of the Meteora landscape from a local artist, pointed me to Miguel’s shop, and I knew what I wanted before he could open the door. Great customer service.

The owner of the shop was very friendly. We even got discounts for buying few sandals and was given a fridge magnet too. There were so many choices of sandals to select and souvenirs to choose. A must visit when in Kalambaka to pick souvenirs.

If you’re visiting Kalampaka, stopping at Sesame Street is a must!
Bought the most delicious local products -you should definitely ask for recommendations ;) -
Very friendly staff and happy to help you decide what to get, if you’re not familiar with some of the options!

They make unique and good quality souvenirs of Meteora. Atmosphere of the shop is good, too. I bought one magnet that I have never seen in any other souvenir shop. They also sell t-shirts, postcards, notebooks, and cups.
