Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Patricia NSaratoga Springs, NY74 contributionsSpectacular views on Finis Terra.
Take a taxi, hike 3-5 hours, bring snacks.
Great before embarking on sea expedition.
Just do it.Written 8 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. And it's fun to take it to the end where one step beyond a sign technically puts you into Chile.Written 7 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Considering the fact that I barely speak any Spanish, I felt very welcome the whole time. The guides maintained a very good pace for a difficult hike (mostly due to the terrain - snow and rocks - and not altitude) to make sure everyone got to the top. We were given helmets, crampons and a walking stick. Lunch was also delicious as we were given a hot cup of pumpkin soup at the summit. They translated all the information for me as well as they could and I appreciated it very much. Would definitely recommend.Written 28 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
