Oddly, at first glance we couldn't decide which way to enter. After finally making that command decision, we found 20 or more local merchants/artisans working on and selling all manner of local treasures. While we didn't find anything we couldn't live without, it was a fun stroll past the individual stalls.

We visited this quaint town during a cruise . We loved this shop. It has a great selection of souvenirs , clothing , hats and bbq needs . Staff had sufficient English to be able to help us with our many purchases . Got a few penguin themed gifts , and some clothing items . Great shop .

Nice chocolates and very nice service. The whole shopping area of Ushuaia is fun to walk around and browse the shops.

While wandering around the town of Ushuaia it's definitely worth a visit to the chocolate shop. You can sample so many different chocolate flavour combinations, take some home to family and friends, and compare them with other chocolates from around the world. It's all a very yummy experience.

Among the highlights of my visit to Ushuaia was visiting this gallery. It is not a very large gallery, but is lined with stalls featuring the work of local artists and artisans displaying and selling their work. The works include everything from leather goods, to paintings, to jewelry to souvenirs and a variety of other items. A walkway in the center of the stalls which line the walls can get a bit busy, but I found the visitors and the vendors to be friendly and accommodating. I found a couple of nice handcrafted leather items that will provide great memories of my brief time in Ushuaia.

I was there in December, not so many shops but sufficient enough. The mall is not crowded which is a plus for me.

We searched though many a tourist shop looking for some unique gifts before coming to Tienda Celeste. They have a nice selection of local art and crafts. Found some shirts with silkscreens by local artists. Don't miss this stop in Ushuaia!

By far, this is the best souvenir shop in Ushuaia. They have a wide selection of tourist stuff from cheap to handmade products. All the normal stuff is here like t-shirts, post cards, etc. We found their pricing to be reasonable. They also have a nice selection of homemade foods too.

BOTTOM LINE: This was our second visit here in the past two years. It is very popular with the various cruise ships and expeditions passengers. You are sure to find something here for most everyone one your list. A fun store to browse when walking around downtown. MY RATING: 9/10.

I bought several carved rhodochrosite penguins here. They turned out to be cheaper than in the duty free shops on the cruise ship pier.

The owner also helped me out getting cash to pay for a cab back to the pier. It was a good experience.

I spent over $400 there , had to return an item unused and I was told no return policy , this was never mentioned before . I was then forced to pick subpar item . This is a resort town and this particular store is an overpriced venue. To my fellow travelers stay away !
