This was an excellent tour. Diego was very knowledgeable and explained the history of the area with intriguing stories that captivated our interest for the full tour.

We went with LT travel and the guide was Patricia. We were the only English speakers in the minibus but she told us everything in English too. The view from the top of the chair lift was amazing and we went to another view point which was amazing too. A very good half day.

In peak season the queue to the chair lift is long. But definitely worth it.

San Martin is a cozy little town. They have tours that go there daily. I would recommend renting your own car, as it comes out way cheaper and you get to run on your own schedule and stop off at the lakes you want to.

We headed out early morning with no traffic and we were able to make it within 2.5 hours. The town is small enough that you only need 3-4 hours to see it all unless you want to dine at a restaurant. Most places open at 10 or 11, so be mindful if you want to get there early.

There's really only 2 lakes that I think are worth stoping at, that have a big enough area to swim in or enjoy (although I forget the names) but the area is clearly visible.

It was really a quick trip for us to visit. I would recommend this outing if you have nothing else to visit, like to see lots of lakes (that you might not be willing to jump in) and like cozy small towns. The drive there is scenic as well, but can get a little redundant and it is winding. Great drive if you enjoy...driving.

We arrived early to avoid the tourist buses and crowds. The area has fine viewing points with sensitive spots rightly fenced off. The glacier itself is impressive with a small lake at its base with calved icebergs floating in it. The birdlife seems unafraid of people which is perfect. I loved taking time out watching a pair of Patagonian Finches

The guide was very accomodating. I would highly recommend, as I was the only English speaker on the trip. The views were incredible.

We had an excellent morning of kayaking on a private tour with Andy and Julian! Absolutely recommend this outing. Our sons ages 13, 11, 11 had a wonderful time. What a blessing to have a unique experience in such a beautiful place!

Great trip and ride along amazing scenery in the mountains. The Gauchos were great and told us lots of information about the Ranch and surrounding area. Thanks for a great day!

We enjoyed our 11 hour day trip from Bariloche with an enthusiastic English guide Joanna to see the 7 lakes on the itinerary. Comfort breaks were appropriately included and the lunch break in San Martin is pleasant. The walk in to the town from the lake is worthwhile just to compare it with Bariloche. Lots of places to eat beyond what the guide suggests in the 2 hour time slot although we just found a seat to eat our packed lunch overlooking the lake as we weren’t aware their was an opportunity to seek out a lunch venue during our schedule.
If you want to see more of the lakes in this area you won’t be disappointed with this trip. Our travel agent booked it for us through Turracion so not sure which company is the best to use but there appears to be several running on Tuesdays.

We had so much fun on this kayaking trip! Juli and Andy were great and really took the time to point out all the interesting spots, trees and birds. They brought additional gear for us so we would be comfortable in the kayaks.
We would definitely do this again. It was fun seeing the lakes from a different perspective on the water.

Trout Bariloche provides excellent service! We were picked up at our hotel by our guide and brought to the Limay River. Our guide was very knowledgeable, very friendly and very attentive, changing our flys to find what the trout were seeking this day. The river was beautiful and we would absolutely use Trout Bariloche again!

Experience a down to earth authentic experience of a multi-generational Argentine family of German origin who have lived for over 100 years in what is now a National Park. The propriators are all welcoming and open their lovely property to you. The horses (and dogs) are great, their off grid compound is lovely, and the afternoon meal delicious. It's a cool immersion into another way of life. You won't regret it- Great family, couple or single experience.
