What travellers are saying
- Sjakie SHoorn, The Netherlands647 contributionsThe museum has free entrance, and if you know what's inside! But you have to wait in the queue for 1 hour. The audio guide is well worth the price. I think you can spend a whole day here.Written 18 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- HeatherandKelSalt Lake City, UT89 contributionsLoved this museum. Had lived in Shanghai for over a year before ever going. Wish I had been sooner and had taken visitors. The model of Shanghai is one of the most impressive things I have ever seen. Great rainy day, or bad air day activity.Written 9 April 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Joel KVancouver, Canada3,174 contributionsThis square is part of the crossroads of the city. Gardens, a place to relax, museums in the area, courts to play ball, and more. A fun place to relax and take a breather and people watch.Written 24 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Paul TGrand Rapids, MI632 contributionsA must visit, for sure, but I keep returning to take in different angles each time. Get inside where you can and slowly take it in and study whatever is available there.Written 6 June 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Nancy NgnHanoi, Vietnam2 contributionsThe dining room, kinda cheap for a fast lunch // i spent like ¥48. It’s the closet place for me to go to eatWritten 3 March 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Jo-AnnWashington15,461 contributionsWe started walking Fuzhou Road from Raffles City Mall towards the Bund. However it was drizzling so we didnt make it all the way. This street is very interesting and historical, with old buildings and old bookstores and art gallery. Love it!Written 6 May 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- yannpaqiHanoi, Vietnam6 contributionsThe tourist guide (who i can't remember his name) took us here for street foods and we enjoyed really much. As most of south China foods are hot, delicious, spicy as i love.Written 3 April 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- AbbiShanghai, China4 contributionsMy 8 year old and 4 year old loved It! They were so happy to pick out their own mix of m&ms. They loved all the stratus as well as the live characters. We were there at nearly closing time on a Friday night and the place was still packed.Written 28 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

Nicely made characters.
If you have a lot of customers, it can take time to tour the exhibition.Written 18 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Marco MGothenburg, Sweden330 contributionsNot so big as a mall but one of the coolest ever, mixing trendy shops with art installations. The coolest shoe shop I ever saw, with huge LED screens as tables and a robot. And much else. Also, many different restaurants. Close to an area which is worth walking through.Written 24 December 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Stephen C1,075 contributionsThis is a nice park located in people's square. It is within walking distance from JW Marriott hotel.
Other than the fact that it is a beautiful garden tucked in the middle of the city, there is an interesting feature of this park. This is where parents will advertise the availability of their children using umbrellas. The background history and BIO data are written on paper and placed on top of an umbrella. Judging from the number of people who are walking around, they are serious about matchmaking through this means. This place is worth visiting, simply just to see this aspect.Written 16 November 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Hugary1Sydney, Australia5,362 contributionsAnother shopping complex in managing Street competing with the other complex centres. There are some similar brands among each centre. This one also has the main central area that is open so you can see the levels and the idea of vast spaces to shop in. Very well signed in English as well.
Was there a couple of times. left once as it was a Chinese sale day and the crowds would make sardine feel they were in wide open spaces.
Next time much better and a pleasure to wander around. Always good to get out of the cold or weather.
Once again with credit cards a couple of places wanted only currency, Chinese credit cards or an electronic transfer from a Chinese bank account.Written 15 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Mi FKaty, TX16 contributionsBeautiful facility. We walked up in there wearing jeans and I had a bottle of baijiu(moonshine) that of which they held for me at the entrance until we left. The staff were nice but some of the people we sat next to made us feel like we didn’t belong. We got to experience being lasered from above for trying record a bit and a long stare/lecture from the lady next to me because I decided to eat a tic-tac during the performance and the rattling noise bothered her. She glared at me through the whole process of taking my tic-tacs out of my pocket, giving one to To my wife, and getting myself one. Then she told me not to do it lol. I was laughing and ate about 4 more during the show. Lol
Overall, the theater was beautiful, the musicians were amazing, and we enjoyed it for what it was.Written 28 September 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - LCJ330Melbourne, Australia1,081 contributionsGreat photo op when walking past at night. Conveniently located next to a foot bridge. Not sure what’s inside.Written 15 March 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
