- Rc1Sacramento, CA377 contributionsI just returned from a visit to India. I booked a car and driver through Pioneer for our 4 day stay in Delhi. Moin Ashraf was excellent in communication, professional, and provided us excellent service. His rates were competitive, and he constantly kept in touch with us to make sure things were going as expected. Our driver, Sunju Sharma, provided excellent service. He was friendly, professional, thoughtful, and took very good care of us.

- CarolinaOttawa, Canada3 contributionsWhen India uplifted the COVID quarantine for foreigners, I decided to go. This proved to be the best choice, since I got a very good price for airplane ticket and found India practically empty of international tourists (for instance, no line in TajMahal, where I took all my time while very knowledgeable guide Mr. Mohsen discussed the Mughal culture in details with me). If you like me dream about going to India, the time is now! Don’t miss this opportunity! And if you, like me, are a woman traveling by yourself, hesitating about how to get by in India, your best choice is Trinetra Tours. Unlike regular tour operators, Trinetra Tours is highly committed to the traditional principles of India hospitality, which consists of really caring for you and your needs. This is much more than delivering services; it is about giving you an unforgettable experience. I found this out in the first messages exchanged with Mr. Tapas, who designed my tour exactly according to what I wanted. I had a 5 nights/6 days Golden Triangle tour. I was given choices from 5 stars hotels to homestays, and preferred the latter, which allowed me to have great conversations with Indian families during homemade dinner. Mr. Tapas went out of his way to make sure I had everything I needed: from visa and COVID test to SIM card and traditional Indian clothes (since I preferred to be respectful to local dressing codes, I ordered them online and had them delivered to Trinetra Tours). I was received with a marigold necklace by Mr. Mahendra, the tour manager, who was available 24/7 by phone for whatever I would need. He actually welcomed me twice: I spent a week in an Ashram after my tour and in my return he was at the Delhi airport waiting with a car to take me from the Domestic flights Terminal to the International Terminal (which are far from each other). A key feature of my trip success was Mr. Divendra, the most skilled driver (traffic in India requires Samurai skills!) who would take me wherever I would like to, whenever I would like to. Another highlight was Mr. Govind, a guide born at Jaipur, who took me (at my request) to receive a blessing at the temple in which his family worships for generations. I arrived back home two days ago, safe and sound, having met wonderful people, seen unforgettable places and having had a lifetime experience. All I think about is when I will be able to go back to India.Written 5 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Septika Ranu1 contributionDespite the difficulties experienced through Covid pandemic, Indian Destination Experts have consistently given us excellent service. Researched alternative trips, given options to carry over to this year from 2020 and have now offered a full refund as travel to our destination continues not to be possible. Their service has been excellent throughout in very difficult circumstances. Our holiday to Rajasthan had to be postponed first because of Covid.
It has been an excellent experience touring Rajasthan with Indian Destination Experts. We visited Agra, Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodhpur and Jaisalmer in 9 days - a lot to cover as we wanted to experience the diversity that Rajasthan had to offer. From the initial email communications in planning our trip, Rahul was most professional in answering all our queries, providing useful information on accommodation and best places to visit. Despite many changes to our itinerary (we eventually flew from Jaipur to Udaipur instead of driving), Rahul was patient and accommodating throughout.
Tufel is an attentive and cautious driver who has internalized the sensitivity of Indian road traffic and is calm, friendly, always in good spirits and always ready to stop for a beautiful scenery, a rare animal or a hidden stepwell.
We felt very comfortable and safe with him, he became dear to us during this trip - we can warmly recommend him.
Would highly recommend Indian Destination Experts as we have previously travelled with them (for quite a few years)
The customer service they provide both here and abroad is excellent, on occasions we have contacted them when on a trip to help solve a problem and they always respond quickly and efficiently.

- KrisiMichigan2 contributionsOur group went on a customized Old Delhi food tour in February 2022; it was a fantastic tour. We got to taste the tremendous and safe variety of street food (They listen to your preferences) and experience the spice markets. Delhi by Locals created a fabulous, fun, and well-planned experience. Also, they organized our day trip to Agra in March, visiting the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. They provided us with a terrific guide Mukesh, driver Sandeep; we ate at a great restaurant and had an unforgettable magical experience. HIRE Delhi by locals- I highly recommend this team in Delhi, India. You will not be disappointed, and it will make your trip even more memorable. BONUS, they even picked us up from the airport and dropped us off!!! Thanks again, and we will be back!Written 19 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- DCJ-FloridaTravelerWest Palm Beach, FL27 contributionsWe set up a custom trip through Tiger Safari India/Nature Safari India. It was just short of a month, with tiger safaris that went to four national parks and culture/history stops in New Delhi, Varanasi, Jaipur & Agra. It was an epic journey. We are photographers and Sharad was able to cater to this by getting us private trucks and also going to locations at sunrise/sunset, etc. This is so important if you want stunning images and less crowds.
We were offered three types of hotels to choose from for varying budgets. We mixed and matched. Hotels were excellent and if we needed an upgrade we got it. We had great tiger sightings in all 4 parks - Pench, Kanha, Bandhavgarh and Corbett, along with elephants in Corbett and all the usual others like Chital, Samba, Barking Deer, Langur Monkeys, Rhesus Macaques, Wild Boar, Wild Dog, Jackal and many types of birds. We were very happy with our experience and had a good selection of closeup and far away shots.
I would describe our package as a managed tour - all bookings were done by them for hotels, guides, safaris and transfers but it wasn't a group tour. We were met at the airport and taken care of throughout our trip via communications through drivers, hotels, guides or directly to Sharad or Deepak via What's App. We used a combination of flying and driving to various parts of India.. My husband's birthday occurred during the trip and Sharad made sure the hotel & driver celebrated it.
We booked for April & May and there happened to be an intense heat wave this year (2022). It is a good time to see tigers go to their watering holes in the heat but the temperature was above 100 degrees most of the time and got to as high as 112-116. This was managed by only doing activities in the morning and evening when temperatures were cooler. This coincides well with safaris which tend to occur at that time anyway. If I had it to do over I would go in February-March.Written 21 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - John1 contributionIt was great experience with India Driver Tours!! Amit has picked up from Haridwar train station and driven us to Kedarnath & later to Badrinath. Due to long drives we've been stopped couple of places for refreshment. The Car was super clean and driver was well behaved and very knowledgeable. We were planing this trip from 2020 but because of covid not able to do.. Great company to travel with very fair price and great customer services. I would love to recommend Amit and his company India driver tours to anyone for Char Dham Tour!!Written 22 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
