I was up early and no where to go, so decided to stroll through the astronomical devices. The guard was helpful. I knew nothing when I arrived and learned a few things too. Enjoy!

The best way to reach here is to get down at Central secretariat metro station and walk down. The view at night is beautiful after the buildings are lit.

One of the Delhi Metro’s important stations (also one of its earliest stations to be opened) is the one at Patel Chowk. Here, above the platforms but within the station’s premises, is the Metro Museum, a small two-gallery museum that focuses on the work of the Delhi Metro.

The museum includes a set of models of different trains used by the Metro; it also has a model (along with a detailed description of how it works) of a tunnel-boring machine, as well as a cross-section of a machine. There are full-size mannequins sporting the different uniforms worn by DMRC’s workers, a tool kit used for maintenance, and the different types of helmets worn. There is a history of the DMRC and the phases in which work has been carried out to take the NCR’s Metro network to where it is now.

For me, one of the most interesting bits about the museum was a section on ‘interesting facts about the Delhi Metro’: how many escalators across the network (1,000), the deepest station (Hauz Khas, 30 mt), the highest point (Dhaula Kuan, as tall as a 7-storey building), tallest escalator in India (Janakpuri West), how many times the Metro’s train doors open and close in a day (25 lakh), and so on. This was really fascinating and impressive.

There’s no entrance fee for the Museum, which is basically just a series of exhibits on either side of the passage leading to the exit gates. However, since it is within the area between the exit gates and the platforms, you do need to have a smart card or token in order to view it.

The Western Court Building is a former colonial era building that was used to house visiting dignitaries, but is not used by members of parliament. Ordinarily, members of the public are not allowed to visit, but the guards let me have a quick wander around the grounds. The building is built in a very simple neoclassical building. The facade of the building including the neoclassical structures are pretty plain and devoid of decorations as far as I could tell. Fine to take a look if you’re in the area, but I wouldn’t go out of the way to see it.

I signed up with Delhi Magic tours for 3 days in May 2022, ranging from a day trip to Agra to the various sights in Delhi. I had good tours with all the guides. They were friendly, highly knowledgable and engaging. I also engaged Delhi Magic to visit the Elephant and Bear rescue centres. These two visits are highly educational and are an eye opener. It is recommended!

Also, a shout out to my driver, Dharmender. He is punctual, drives safely, friendly and prepares ample supplies of bottled water for all the tours, which is appreciated in the hot season.

Last but not least, thanks to Ranjeet for arranging the tours smoothly and being prompt in all the replies.

I had a good experience with Delhi Magic and will engage Magic tours on my next visit to India again.

Stayed at Shangri-la Delhi for the first time, and I knew no stay at a Shangri-la property is complete without a spa treatment. And I wasn't wrong!

First of all, the spa consist of the following free facilities: a high-end and a very modern gym, a sauna, steam-room, jacuzzi and an outdoor swimming pool.

At additional charge, there's a Salon and massage treatments available. For the latter, I chose their signature Asian Blend 90 minutes treatment which was absolutely terrific! The staff are truly experienced and extremely professional. I had a very bad jet lag for two days which completely vanished following the treatment. Worth every penny!

    Highly recommend.

We had a very enjoyable experience with them. They planned for us our trip through Rajasthan, and then our trains and stays all across India to Kerala. Great hotels, planning and guides at the sites.

Abdul was very nice to us, always available to help and drive us through Delhi when we were there. He and his family are all very friendly.

    I totally recommend this agency!

From A star tours. We were picked up at our hotel JW Marriott ,Aerocity Delhi exactly on time by Rajveer ,our guide & Ram,our driver. We had an input into where we wanted to go & then they took us to all the important sites including an exciting rickshaw ride. Rajveer is a very knowledgeable guide who told us the important facts & was always ready to answer our questions. He was very friendly & practical in that he could "skip the line"
Ram was a skillful driver who was very courteous & always there to meet us.

Located in the heart of the city Big Odean now known as Carnival Cinemas is at a walking distance from Rajiv Chowk metro station. One can find a parking spot in the NDMC Authorised parking outside the theatre easily.

The unique thing about this theatre is that it offers SOFA SEATS.

These seats are probably more than double the size of the normal seats which adds to the overall experience of the viewer.

The picture and sound quality is really good.

The place is clean and well maintained.

They have small waiting areas outside the auditoriums.

The price of the tickets are slightly on the higher side.

    Overall experience was 4/5.
