It is open to the general public only for a short duration in February - March every year. The garden is simply amazing with beautiful flowers and greenery all around. Definitely worth a visit.

When I was planning to visit Sunder Nursery Park, One thing that hesitates me was the safety of my car. But I found professional PARK+ parking when I reach. Because of that, I saw the Sunder Nursery park freely. Even I wanted to stay there for hours because it was very close to nature.

Japanes Park is a big park in Rohini Delhi. It is nearby with Rohini west metro Station. It is a good place for jogging, playing badmintion, cricket, football etc. It has open gym, boating facilities. It is also a good option for family picnic.

Saw this while in Humayan’s Tomb back in December. This is the garden that surrounds Humayun’s Tomb and adheres to the Mughal-Persian notion of Islamic paradise on earth and takes the form of a perfectly symmetric quadrilateral garden. The symmetry is most obvious by walking around the gardens and looking straight down the path at the tomb in the centre. The views from the platform of the tomb aren’t bad either. There’s no effort required to see the garden and you’ll have to walk through it when visiting the complex anyway.

The Hayat Bakhsh Bagh is the gardens to the west of Diwan-i-Aam, bounded by two marble pavilions, Sawan and Bhadon. The former to the east and the latter to the west, although the two pavilions are actually identical. There’s a water channel that links the two pavilions and if there was actually water running through it, I’m sure it would’ve looked even more beautiful. The Zafar Mahal sits between the 2 pavilions. The palace was constructed by the last Mughal emperor, Bahadur Shah II and is said to have held poetry meetings here.

It is a nice garden with variety of beautiful roses. Worth seeing in winters when roses are in full bloom. Fountains are also there which operate during morning and evening hours.

My husband and I went for a walk in Lodi Gardens our second day in Delhi (and India). It was a lovely surprise with the buildings and pretty grounds. It was nice to be among local folks just going about their lives.
