This place is worth your time if you enjoy nature and appreciate amazing views There are several patches or tracks you can follow either by walking ,cycling ,or roads are limited passing and you will need to be good at reversing as only one way to the top and only width for one vehicle ,so it is worth the effort,or as we did do tour and sit back and enjoy the views.
Also if you take the option to go to the summit you will have a chance to do the sky walk included ,there are many tours up to the sky walk but it is only half way up the mountain ,

We booked the last time in schedule on July 11 19:00. All skywalk was ok, quite many meople so a bit complicated to take pictures, but probably that’s natural for mid summer. View from the top perfect nothing to add.
However after closing the skywalk we slowly headed down the mountain and stopped in many spots for pictures or just short stops to walk arround. I think we spent more than 1,5 hour slowly moving and that was the best experience. We seen probably the best sunset in my life, also because we were in last group there were no traffic at all. No cars moving towards to mountain top so no stress - empty road.
Everybody recommends early morning as the best time, but due our visit in Makarska there were possibility to book only online so everybody came on schedule so no jams and waiting in queue. If there is possibily I recommend to choose evening times because sunset is something outstanding.

Beautiful harbour in the town of Makarska with a huge stunning mountain range as it's backdrop. Lots of nice winding atmospheric streets with lots of shops. The seafront has some nice bars and restaurants. Especially worth trying is the craft beer bar Hop!

Plenty of parking by the harbour and then only a 15 minute walk to the end of the peninsula. Really lovely on the headland, next to the sea, amidst the trees.

The park is a large stretch of woodland Lying between Makarska and Tucepi. The woods are beautiful and quite dense, thus affording welcome shade from the hot sun. There is a network of well-constructed but stony and rocky paths here, the best being the one to Nugal Beach due to its lovely sea views. If rest is needed, there are frequent benches on the tracks.Would have liked more chance to explore here.

Beautiful old church near Kacic Square. Inside feels very holy. Be warned no bare shoulders or bare thighs allowed inside or one of the nuns chases you out!

Nice walk through the park until de beach. The view of Nugal beach is beautiful especially from the hill. It is a pebble beach, 3/4 nudist beach, the rest of it is for tourists. There is a little tree park with shadow and sitting benches that is usually used by nudists.

Pleasant atmospheric square near St Mark's Church. There are some nice winding alleways from the square which are good for photos. The area around the square has a few shops, bars, and restaurants.

We visited the observatory last night and had a lovely visit. The talk/tour lasts about 20minutes and we saw the moon, a distant star cluster and Saturn and were talked through information about all of them. I’ve always wanted to look through a proper telescope and this didn’t disappoint. Definitely recommend a visit.

A small, but nice collection of sea shells, from around the world, as well as of the nearby ocean. The museum is located inside a franciskan monestry.
We were met by an elderly woman who communicated fairly well in english.

I had the place to myself. It is falling into delipidation a little. All the information boards had rotted and all were on the ground. However all plants are still labelled although a few especially those in crevices had died in September 2019. I followed the track that rises alongside the mountain for quite a way before it descended again. It was a bit overgrown and steep alongside the stream. Only fit people should use this route, there is an easier less steep one.

The entrance ticket costs 10 kunas, but it was a well spent money - it's a lovely small museum rich with stories of Makarska, villages under Biokovo mountain range and a pearl of strings - all coastal villages and small towns of Makarska Riviera. The Museum also houses local archive, so it's a good starting point e.g. for visitors of Croatian origines who arrive in order to discover something about their ancestors. The collection is well presented, with textx in Croat and English language. It could also provide you with information for further exploration along the Riviera, e.g. to search for the Epitaph of Licinianus in Zivogosce
