... to Santiago, it is cold and windy, you have to go with warm clothing In the snow season, it is advisable to leave early from Santiago because the trip is long to the reservoir, once there only to enjoy nature.
we went to the lower part of the road where we could park next to the lake, have a picnic and enjoy the view for an hour or so.

This memorial park is a great opportunity to see some of Chile's history firsthand.
Although an extremely heavy topic, the park gives an optimistic, hopeful, and artistic outlook for the future and is really focused on remembering and honoring those who were affected.

We took a walk from our hotel at Las Condes, and walked into this park, it's just beautiful: lawn, rose garden, all kinds of trees and plants, and see the locals relax and enjoy their weekends at the park.
A city with a culture of parks, cafes and culture, Santiago offers gorgeous spots where one can unwind and feel refreshed in the middle of the day.

The park is very complete, and very beautiful, you can see native flora and fauna from the Chile, and is suitable for the whole family.

... rangers office at the entrance where you can buy your ticket (3000 pesos in Jan 2017), the rangers are very helpful and there is some interesting info on the wildlife, archaeology and geology of the park
Pali Aike is a national park which lets you visit wild open volcanic landscapes and some of the earliest recorded inhabited areas in far south America dating back 11,000 years.
