What travellers are saying
- Claudio Roberto SSan Pedro Sula, Honduras1,085 contributionsThis is an university, is good for studying but no to visit for tourism o making business. I don't recomend it to visit.Written 7 November 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Michael GMunich, Germany174 contributionsGreat and amazing football arena and great tour guide Juliana. Enjoy a tour of this amazing stadium and get the feeling of this football temple. Unfortunately, the team isn't playing so well this season, but they have this great and amazing place with a lot of history you can enjoy during the tour. Take advantage and take a photo with the "Copa de Libertadores", the south american soccer trophy.Written 16 October 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Marcelo SParis, France2 contributionsThe Beira-Rio stadium is located in a privileged area of the city, close to a beautiful green park and with stunning views to the Guaíba lake.Written 18 May 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. For children they even have a small library which unfortunately righty now still is closed.Written 16 October 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Clarissa TPorto Alegre, RS4 contributionsParque Farrouilha or Redencao is in the heart of Porto Alegre. It has a lot of good stuff. Farmers´market saturday morning, Arts and Crafts Fair saturday and Sundays afternoon, lots of walking/running areas, playgrounds for kids, and mini parks inside the park including a dog play area.Written 19 February 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - adelaidesurflifesaverAdelaide, Australia326 contributionsGreat place to view the amazing art deco architecture and have a coffee on the top for a nice view. This used to be a hotel and now converted into a cultural centre.

The walk in this street was always a nice change from hotel room.Written 15 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AntonyTobiasJuggJoao Pessoa28 contributionsSome might say that "food park" is a little harsh but that's what it is though it does feature some fine attractions such as a Varig aeroplane which is open once a week. There is also an excellent park area with giant chess set and childrens play equipment. The grassed area is very well kept and attendants keep the place clean. Mc Donalds is the only regular restaurant though it does face competition from Madero (the best burger in the world; look it up) across the way in a two-tier container set up. The other restaurants (Fratello and a Thai place) were too up market for what we wanted (The Thai meal and drinks would have set us back a whopping R$400). It is a great place to sit back and watch the planes fly overhead while sipping a beer or whatever.Written 17 January 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Regina SSao Paulo, SP255 contributionsThe Public Market is a good place to buy artisanal cheeses, salami, and other typical foods.
In addition to food and drinks, there is a very interesting handicrafts and antiques fair.Written 3 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ibsen BPorto Alegre, RS26 contributionsAlthough the riverfront project still hasn´t finished, from Usina do Gasômetro to Rota das Cuias it´s a very nice walk, good infrastructure and great views, especially if one desires to watch the famous sunset over GuaibaWritten 1 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Millet02Atlanta, GA508 contributionsThis is a nice shady garden with paths, benches, and ponds. There were several photography sessions going on the day we went, otherwise not many people around.Written 5 March 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Rogerio FPorto Alegre, RS77 contributionsThis centenary building harbours one of the best theatres in Brazil. It was finely restored over more than twenty years to reopen to its former glory two decades ago. It has now been joined by a modern cultural complex, the ao called Multipalco. Check for attravtions. Concerts, shows, ballet and plays are often happening here. Visit the theatre even if there is nothing going on. Guided visits can be arranged and a nice cafe serves you with a nice view of the adjoining squarr.Written 2 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Rudy MOrlando, FL186 contributionsSafe, beautiful, well-kept, for sports, biking, skating, laying, walking dogs, alone, as a couple, or a group of friends to sit on the grass and have a great time, this is the place.Written 23 April 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
