Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- markitikiOrlando, FL692 contributionsEven though we read all the exhibits, the visit was still relatively quick and brisk. An exhibition that makes you think and makes an impact. For me, it was a nice change from learning about Brasil's past!Written 6 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - misssaintsomewhereNew York City, NY131 contributionsIt's an open air warehouse, make no mistake about that. You walk around and look through the bars to see the floats that are stored there. I thought it was well-worth it to go and see them. You spend 30 min. there and move on. I've heard they have some Samba events there but we weren't there on that day. We had hired a driver the entire time we were in Rio and he took us there (highly recommend you do the same for security and a good local tour guide. Plus it's fairly inexpensive). They had a huge fire here in 2011 that destroyed almost everything so some of the reviews might reflect the lack of floats that were there. They needed to have a couple more parades to have something to put in there to see.Written 6 March 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AlebencoHouston, TX95 contributionsVery underwhelming. We finished the whole place in 10min. Most of the exhibitions are poorly executed. The service was nice.Written 27 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
