Kamakura Hiking Trails
#1 of 25 Nature & Parks in Kamakura
My wife and I decided to spend Sunday morning exploring Kamarakura's trails from Kita-Kamakura station to the seaside park walking by temples and shrines including Kotoku-in with the Great Buddha.
The trail continues through a few other shrines and Genjiyama park from which you can see mt Fuji on a clear day (I couldn't).

Enoshima Island Fujisawa 6.5 km away
#1 of 17 Nature & Parks in Fujisawa
Nature is well preserved in Enoshima and because of it's topography and man-made structures, I had a chance to view nature up close and from high above evoking in me a feeling of deeper appreciation for this bless...
The only downside is that Enoshima Island is so called a "cat island" with a large amount of cats. the max number of cats we saw was 10, near a car park under the cars.
