Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It was such an amazing experience. I love the cute little details that they put in every little miniature and you can clearly see how much work and effort they put into making this came to life. The lightshow was captivating especially the one in the Dataran Merdeka's miniature. I highly recommend for tourists to come here if you're wanting to learn more about Malaysia but don't have the time to visit all of them :)

My brother brought my friend and I to visit this amazing temple. It is very crowded during Chinese New Year the traffic was so congested and we have to turn around.
It is a very divine and spiritual place to visit for me as a Chinese descent.

Having never really been to a mosque before, this was a wonderful experience. We were given robes and headscarves on arrival and taken on a tour by Othman who was amazing. The standard time for the tour is about 45 mins but as we had questions and were able to see noon prayer we spent about 3 hours here. Othman was able to answer all of our questions and was really lovely. The mosque itself is beautiful and well worth a visit.

A very nice museum (unfortunately the gallery was closed for repairs or so) but the remaining floors offered a good insight into the development of the Malaysian central bank, it’s role and responsibilities, etc. Also a good overview of the development of coins and noted throughout the last few hundred years. All in all, interesting exhibition with everything displayed in BM and English so good for tourists as well. Some nice interactive areas and activities so also younger kids would be entertained for a while. Parking is RM 5 but the museum itself is free (you need to put a deposit of RM 10 for putting any bags you have in a locker).

We came across this little museum on the way to somewhere else and decided to pop in. It was a very interesting museum, lots of information and many exhibits well displayed. An impressive display of weaponry. Well worth a visit

We really enjoyed the opportunity to see and learn about this relocated village headman’s residence. Surrounded by skyscrapers, this is a fascinating glimpse into the past and a calming escape. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. A wonderful experience! Highly recommended.

We visited Lazat cooking class as a family of seven, and had a fantastic time. We started at the market to look at some of the ingredients, and then went to spend a morning cooking, delicious traditional Malaysian food. Ana,Maz Irene and the team were Knowledgeable and friendly, and our results were very tasty! Heartily recommend this as a way of getting to know more about Malaysian food and spending some fun time together!

Fantastic experience by the dynamic Emilia and her staff , e learned and experienced the hands on art of Batik and took away our own art works .
She teaches individual and groups and knows her practice . More than that she knows people and can inspire others to free up their creativity! Her workshops are recommended.

Interesting place in the central market annex, 2nd floor (there is a lift). There is a 5RM entrance but the owner seems happy to waive the charge for foreigners. The artifacts are substantially from Indonesia. He seems to be a personal collector. There are few explanations and I was (possibly unjustifiably) concerned about the provenance - but the same can be said of most museums but it's well worth a visit.

The best thing about this place is of course the view, which is breathtaking. The personnel was also very friendly and they made our stay pleasant. The food and the cocktails were OK although nothing special. All in all, the experience was worth it and we had a great time at Heli Lounge.

PS150. In the Petaling Street neighborhood of Kuala Lumpur, China Town there is a secret “hidden bar” looks like a weird toy store from the street. There’s no sign, just a number - 150. You can’t be sure you’re even there until you push the door. This is a pre-war building that has been thriving ever since. It’s 10 pm on a Monday night. According to Trip Advisor it closed a half hour ago. The decor, the concept, the delivery are all world-class. These guys know how to make a cocktail. The drinks are “educational without being overwhelming or pretentious“ drawing from bold southeast Asian flavors. The music is great. There isn’t an empty seat in the house and if you come to KL and don’t come here. There’s no delicate way to put it…You’re just dumb. Lol.

We did the Sunset Tour with our guide Barry, this was our 3rd time in KL but we explored places we’d never seen before.

The local areas were fascinating & perhaps not places you’d ordinarily venture as a wandering tourist. Barry was very knowledge and gave us a great insight into how the locals live.

It was a very humid evening but we were given complimentary water & the food in the restaurant satisfied our rumbling stomachs!

Would highly recommend as a great way to see the sights of KL.

I’ve done 4 escape rooms here and they are all very good. The puzzles are spot on - simple in its understanding but tricky in completion. The themes are good and the design/interiors are awesome. I recommend Subway Terror.

Better than other escape rooms in KL because they don’t feel impossible or far-fetched but definitely offer a challenge.

We recommend doing the tour "Off the Eaten Track" a hundred percent. The food spots were really local, the food absolutely amazing. If you are a bigger group you can even enjoy more food, which is great. We've been to areas where we normally wouldn't go alone and Karlson gave us so much information about the ingredients of the food, how it is prepared and the regional differences that exist. We finished the tour with a filled up tummy and a lot of extrardinary taste experiences.
