We had a private tour for our family of four(2 parents, 2 college age children). TK was an excellent guide. He gave us lots of interesting facts about the area as well as the food. We tried Durian, which was awful, but so glad we can say we tried it. TK gave great suggestions when we had our meal at Yong Tow Foo Sui Kow. Due to Covid, several of the shops that we would have stopped at were closed. Also, we got caught in a rain shower, this just meant having another beer and waiting it out. If you go with the attitude that we are in a Pandemic, it was an amazing tour! Lots of nibbles and great info.

Me and my boyfriend had a food tour with May - it was awesome! She showed us the most delicious food and told us lots of interesting things about Malaysian lifestyle. Highly recommended!

Make sure you take a big appetite with you on this food tour. Nadia took us to eat Malaysian, Indian and Chinese dishes in different parts of the city. She knows all the best places. We even tried durian for the first time. A great way to see the different cultures of this fascinating city.

Hands down the best experience and best way to see KL at night.

My partner and I booked last minute and the guys were very accommodating and picked us up from our accommodation.

They went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience.

If you stumble across this review then you are very lucky, because you too now have the opportunity to join this tour.
We traveled to KL as a family of four and wanted to do something different, we wanted to see the city through different eyes, and not part of a big touristy group. This ticked ever box.

We were picked up at our hotel at 7pm by Michelle and Wesley from Golden Blossom Tours - their local knowledge is incredible but spontaneous and so not scripted. They drove us to ’Queens’ restaurant which is over 60 years old and is basically a street food hub where locals eat and have done forever. The food is cooked on carts surrounding the venue. Michelle ordered everything and it was DELICIOUS! The Sate’s and Pork Buns were the best we have ever eaten. We would normally be to scared to eat in a place like this, but honestly we just trusted them and never once felt nervous about trying everything.

After dinner Wesley drove us through the city in the comfy van, he and Michelle pointed things out - big and small, told us funny stories, and treated us like old friends. We hopped in and out, taking photos and asking questions which tbdu had answers for every time.

For supper we went to a traditional Malaysian Indian 24 hour cafe called Pelita. We all thought there was no way we could possibly eat anything but once again Michelle ordered for us and we finished the night of with traditional cold milky tea sweet Indian rotis and something that I can only describe as one of the most delicious things we've ever eaten a roti tissue. Now we were bursting but very happily so!!!

Michelle and Wes dropped us back to our hotel at about 10.30. We were do impressed with them both we asked about doing something else with them during the day. Michelle quickly arranged a day trip which I will cover in another review, yes it was also incredible so make sure you read it too.

Thank you, thank you, thank you to you both, Golden Blossom Tours are lucky to have you as guides!!

I ended up having a private tour with Chef Faris since I was the only booking. The only downside was I had to eat a lot of food on my own, but it was fantastic to be taken around and shown different things. He clearly knew what he was talking about and he was super friendly and helpful. No issue booking as a single, just don't feel like you need to clear all the plates.
