  • The ranking of tours, activities, and experiences available on Tripadvisor is determined by several factors including the revenue generated by Tripadvisor from these bookings, the frequency of user clicks, and the volume and quality of customer reviews. Occasionally, newly listed offerings may be prioritized and appear higher in the list. The specific placement of these new listings may vary.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Had a great time with Sadiq when he toured us around Kuala Lumpur. He even used his own camera phone to take our pics and sent them to us via WhatsApp.

Our driver/guide Sankaran was simply the best. He was very knowledgeable & informative without boring us with too many details.
We knew we booked a small group but it was only my Wife & I.
Sankaran firstly took us to the hot Springs & yes they were hot, very hot. Apart from the 2 foot pools you don't immerse yourself in the pools, they're dark too hot.
The locals give you a bucket to fill & you put the hands into or if you're really game pour it over yourself.
Next we went upto the Batu Caves, be warned there's over 300 steps, & they're steep. The temple was very impressive but unfortunately I'd say the Tourists leave the surrounding areas littered with rubbish. Bewarned of the monkeys in the cave, they can get quite aggressive in search of food and tourists are concealing in pockets etc.
Sankaran then took us to a local Indian food outlet. I was a little dubious of eating local foods but the dishes were delicious & safe to eat.
We then went to a Batic outlet where we learned how they create hand painted sink scarves & apparel. Very interesting.
This was followed by a fascinating tour of Royal Salanger Pewter factory & showroom of their vast display of items produced.
Thanks again Sankaran, today was one of the very few tours we will remember with very fond memories.

Great tour with the lovely Kiran. She lead us through the authentical parts away from the tourist steams. It was a great combination of background info and delicious food.
She promised us up front, that we would roll back to the hotel with a full belly and voila ..... we did !!!!
We had a wonderfull time and can only highly recommend this tour!!

The guide was nice, the food was delicious, and everything was good, but it might be a little hard for people who don't like hot weather

It was very nice, definitely worth getting one.
There was a small problem, the tour was over six hours long and we didn't have any time to eat anything and we weren't allowed to eat in the van. So by the time I got to my hotel I was literally starving! I think it would have been nice to take some time to eat or at least allow some snacks in the van.

Chandra is an absolute gem of a tour guide. He was so passionate and took very careful attention in making the tour amazing for us. The food locations he showed us were some of the most delicious we’ve had. A must-do experience if you come to KL.

The trip hosted by Lawrence (driver) was great! I was able to fit in two extra sight-see's into my day which was a great surprise and much appreciated. There was a malfunction/miscommunication with the ticket I needed for the cable car up to Genting Highlands, which took time out of my day to troubleshoot and fix but got there in the end. The driver was very prompt and I felt safe throughout the whole experience. Highly recommend the Genting Highlands day excursion / one for my travel books, for sure.

The views were truly amazing Our driver Ashikin picked us up on time and the tour went through seamlessly. He was interactive friendly and guided us through the tour quite well. Although the tour was only for the twin towers. He went out of this way taking us through a couple more places at our request. Would definitely recommend him for a tour if you’re in Kuala Lumpur

We had excellent pre-arrival communication and driver Herry was
at our hotel at 7am for pick up. He was pleasant, safe driver and very responsive to our needs.
Prepare for a long day. About 3 hours drive each way plus more if traffic is bad. First quick stop was the waterfall. Nice but not super impressive. Then our driver suggested we spend RM10 on snacks for the kids in a local indigenous village. This was a great stop and the kids were super appreciative.
Cameron valley tea stop was busy but worth it. Purchase a ticket for the transport down into the valley. Good photos and nice to sit and have a cup of tea there.
Next stop was lunch in the main town. Then we hit major traffic issues and were stuck so we abandoned going any further and headed back to KL. We stopped at a strawberry and bee farm on the way. It wasn’t great.
So the summary is that we spent a lot of time in the car ( about 7 hours) and the driver was great but there’s just not really enough to see and do on this tour to make it worth the very long drive.

The name of the activity should NOT be called: "skip the line"; as there is no line to skip!!! Your ticket is only for a specific time and it forms part of a 20 ticket group, who all enter together (even onto the large single lift) which takes you (firstly) to the "bridge" between the two towers. I believe that this choice of words is misleading and may lead the purchaser to think it is worth paying more through Trip Advisor. My recommendation is buy the ticket when you get there.

We have done the day time hop on hop off bus tours before in KL but the night light tour was new. The selection of lights were the most famous - KL Tower, Petronas Towers, King’s Palace, British Colonial Buildings.
Overseas visitors paid more for the tour than Malaysian’s but the locals got all the seats in the open section of the bus.
Hence trying to take photos was difficult through the windows due to the reflection.
Also, it was stated if you left your seat anytime, anyone could take it, so no one in the open section of the bus got off at any of the sites. Overseas visitors had to get off the bus to take decent photos.
The advantage of the tour was the convenience of being taken to the sites rather than catching a taxi or grab.
A better idea would be to have two buses one for locals and one for overseas visitors.
