Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Adam KGorzow Wielkopolski, Poland75 contributionsAn interesting experience. The cable car sometimes climbs very steeply, even at an angle of 42 degrees. The views from the cable car cabin and then from the bridge are amazing. The only problem is too strong wind - then the cable car stops running.Written 1 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sean HWhitehaven, UK9 contributionsWhat an amazing day , the price was reasonable , really worth the money , loads to do not just the skycable - it's like a small villageWritten 3 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Stuart TLondon, UK62 contributionsI was a bit disappointed. It is a nice beach, but certain parts have been taken over by jet-ski tours and paragliding companies. Certainly spoiled it a bit from when I came 10 years, ago. Its certainly not what I would class a tranquil.Written 25 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Joanne W20 contributionsWe held a baby crocodile, fed young crocodiles chicken from a stick. Watched a man lie on top of a crocodile. Watched them feed crocodiles chicken. All great from an entertainment point of view.Written 4 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Minea O2 contributionsViews were amazing and it was great to see the nature and geographic sights of the island! Very appreciative of the mangroves! However tough it was fun meet the animals, maybe it isnt as ecological as it is advertised.Written 27 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dtn332Dublin, Ireland105 contributionsThis by far is the most unusual beach I’ve ever been on. Extremely beautiful with the islands in the distance with no tide or waves.. just stillness. You could walk out pretty far without getting deep. There were a few crabs to be seen which was fun for the kids. We did atv’s but the jet skis were a bit expensive.
The only drawback were the awful toilets.. they were completely unusable. I couldn’t even bring myself to walk in with sandals.Written 28 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It was a really beautiful waterfall, and the natural pool at the top was lovely to cool down in. There were lots of cheeky monkeys going into any unopened bags. You also need to be very careful when walking around the waterfall, it’s easy to slip.Written 22 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Guide029183996131 contributionThis place is quite nice. There are some rare species here such as penguin and seal but some tanks look very empty and lacks colours. But still a good place to visit.Written 14 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Alex HKilmore, Australia83 contributionsWorth a look
It’s clean and everything was powered, so it’s okay to eat (i think). We didn’t have any issues. Parking it tricky and suggest walking.Written 21 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Obviously this is more interesting if you have a little children, but it was fine. Personally I much more enjoyed visiting the four seasons for a cocktail.Written 5 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MelbourneTeddMelbourne, Australia48 contributionsWe did the more expensive platform trip and it was well worth it. When we arrived to organised chaos, the tide was out and snorkeling was only an option from the platform. Only after 1pm or so could the beach goers actually snorkel out far enough to see anything.
English information was scarce and food was disappointing, and the boat home left 10 minutes early, not sure what would happen if you were still enjoying the underwater viewing chamber since there were no English announcements!
Would recommend the platform over the beach optionWritten 17 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Unfortunately there is very little else to see, they have not yet got the tourist souvenirs on sale. We also had a car journey to get there which in itself was interesting as we saw more of Langkawi.
It is what it says on the tin a monument of a large eagle.Written 13 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
