We spent 3 days (2 at legoland and 1 at the water park) at the park from Saturday to Monday. The park is certainly enjoyable for all ages, but definitely caters to smaller kids. There are lots of rides and options. Since not too many people were there, we got to do all the rides without spending too much time in line. However some rides were definitely not loaded efficiently, which would have been a problem if there were many more people. For example for some rides, they would wait for everyone to get off before allowing the next batch to queue up, even though there was space at the gates for people to wait. Maybe there was a reason for it, but I can’t tell why. Generally the staff were friendly, but I felt like they were a little unnecessarily frustrated at my kid for not really figuring out how to steer her car at the driving course.
The water park had several slides closed for unknown reasons, but the ones that were open were popular with my 5 year old. The other reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because there’s a lot of single use plastic at the park. There’s signs for how to be environmentally friendly around the park (for example not using paper towels), but they served almost all meals with little tiny plastic sauce packets and plastic utensils. I hope legoland improves their sustainability soon.
