They also have vendors (not sure if they are there every day within the park) selling a variety of great treats, including fruit sorbets within the fruit (like peach sorbet within a peach) - delicious!
Situated in the middle of the bustle and bustle of shinjuku lies this beautiful park.. Shinjuku Gyoen is home to many beautiful plants and trees and a must see during spring.

The gardens are expertly maintained and there are bridges, ponds and buildings within the park.
A tribute to its Founder, the garden combines practicality, there is a chapel in the grounds that is used, with a sense of nature and humanity trying to maintain an equilibrium.

Beautiful quiet park with a 700 year old pine, beautifully sculpted trees, a lake with a tea house & wisteria guilded bridges.
Ginza is very vibrant and busy part of Tokyo, which is wonderful, but if one wants a bit of quiet and nature, the Hamarikyu Gardens are just few minutes away from the center of Ginza.

The park is quite beautiful with a large pond and well maintained garden areas with lots of large fish and turtles and even a heron on the pond.
The country has hundreds of these green spaces, a society that truly prioritizes solitude, calm, and well-manicured parks in the midst of epic urbanity.
