Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

On approach via the cable car the dead forests are the first thing you notice, the smell of Sulfur. Once again this is a tourist hot spot so lots of people, but it is worth the view. It is stated not to stay longer than 15 minutes due to the Sulfur. Incredible to watch all the tourists eating the black eggs. Saying is that you extend you life by seven years if you consume one of these eggs - but no refund if it doesn't work!

This is great and perfect place to see a great view of Mt Fuji, with a cloudy atmosphere. You can relax while taking a breath taking view of Mt. Fuji and Laki Ashi into Perfection

What a pity it was cloudy and we could only see the town below and not Mount Fuji. Maybe another time. But the shrine itself has its value for its culture at the Mt Fuji look-out point. For women only!!! It is to call on to the spirits for protection and one must ask for protection by introducing oneself and perhaps to protect some special people by naming them (all in silence), ring the bell 3 times, claps the hands as loud as possible as respect and gratefulness.

I love cedars and these are quite impressive. But the cedar road is quite old and there is the paved street right next to it. Unfortunately no place for spirituality.

We visited here when we were in this area and this was one of the smaller shrines although it was quite interesting and we had a good look around so would recommended that you had a good look when you are in the area

It’s a small shrine surrounded by the hotel. Fine, but better options around unless you are a guest at the hotel

Visited here as this is one of the 7 Fortune God places.
    Located inside of the Yunessan.
You can park your car 2 hours for free, but this Shrine takes mere few minutes to look around.

Sorry, but I cannot find any reason to recommend visiting here.

Visited here as this place is one of the 7 Fortune God places.

The stamp for the 7 Fortune Gods is left alone in the office.
This small temple gave me little religious ambience nor attraction.

I don’t have any reason to visit here again.

    You need a car.
This is in the small town of Hatajuku that is a bit off the main town and main path.

Visited here because this place is one of 7 Fortune God places.

A part of the Ashinoyu area.
The 7 Fortune God Seal is at Kinokuniya Ryokan.

At the shrine area, I could not find anything significant... sorry

Visited this place as one of 7 Fortune God places.
A bit remote from the main part of Hakone nor path to the area.
So, you need a car to visit this place.

Than, if you can reach here, you can find a lot.

Difficult to find a reason to recommend this place for you.
