- Chris LMountain View, CA198 contributionsMy teenage sons and I visited the baths on a weekday morning as they opened. The space was pleasant and moderately busy. They had shockingly hot pools available. The temperatures ranged from 40C/104F up to 48C/118F! There is a cold plunge. There was a Japanese man covered in tattoos, to my surprise. There were signs up saying they were a place of healing and that tattoos could be acceptable if the person was using the space in that spirit. There was also a popular steam room. - Floss12 contributionsWonderful hosts, great service and management. We felt very well cared for the entire time we were there.
We were kindly welcomed and shown our rooms, brought tea and snacks in room, and explained the details of the hotel.
Excellent meals were prepared fresh right on schedule, delivered with grace and care in front of
of gorgeous views.
Housekeeping also completely coordinated with meal times so that our rooms were prepared by the time we ended our meals.

The onsen are rather small, and only one type of water. But you get your own room for 4 hours, and it's old traditional Japanese buildings. The price is 2,500ÂĄ per person.
