Korakuen Garden Okayama
There are also many smaller pools and streams, beautifully sculpted trees and a small hill with natural stone steps and bamboo handrails, which gives a nice elevated view of the park.
Many places to sit, photograph, and just enjoy nature having been sculpted into exquisite beauty.
2 Ways to experience it
Mt. Washu Kurashiki
The north side of the mountain is beautiful too, and so is the west side, where the Washuzan Highland amusement park can be seen.
It is also part of the Setonaikai National Park, Japan's first national park.
Nice bicycle hiking trail offside the big cities give a chance to see the nature of Japan.
Take food and picnic along the way there are a few cute parks with seats and tables one also had toilets, we also stopped at the beautiful pagoda for a cup of tea.
Lots of cherry blossom trees and the park is actually situated in a hill, so you have to hike a bit to reach the top but it was worth it.
Also as it was a botanic garden and not a public park, no vendors were allowed to operate in the gardens.
Miyama Park Tamano
I love this park and often visit since Tamano is my home town.
