Our tourguide was super nice and informative, helping us understand Tunisian culture in very good english. We went to visit Tataouine, Chenini and Ksar Hadada and seeing the desert and sights was amazing as well as tasting traditional Tunisian food! There was just myself , sister and another person who had booked. The tour is really worth doing but unfortunately our guide let it down
He did not introduce himself, played loud Arab dance music the whole time even though we asked for him to turn it down, and had the window open most of the time blowing on us in the back. Our tour was switched to the sunset tour and half way there we stopped he showed us a map and insisted we needed to hire quad bikes to see the sunset at the oasis
We refused and when we arrived he told us we would be stuck there for four hours if we did not hire the quad bikes which turned out to be untrue as the hire was just for 45 mins. We actually hiked out across the beautiful sand dunes to watch and visited the hotels that were there chatting to the owners and the tour was finished up with a lovely Tunisian meal with music and dancing .
The places we stopped on the way was interesting but the guide gave little info about it

- Dominique1 contributionI went on a different tour than the one I booked (went on the Ksar Ghilane, Guermassa tour instead of the Chenini one). Communication about the change was not straightfoward and I was only told "a stop was added" not that it was an entirely different tour than the one I booked. I would still have gone on the tour had they told me, so I am not sure why it was not made clear to me.
The tour itself (Ksar Ghilane and other stops) was good and the driver was nice. We saw and covered a lot during the day. We don't know Djerba Hood at all, we don't know the story. he said “I’ll meet you in 1 hour… at this cafe”. Don't expect many flamingos in November as they start gathering in September. Beautiful beach.

On our way to the lagoon, we passed through the village immersing ourselves in the local culture. We then watched the beautiful sunrise. Our guides were excellent, making us feel comfortable and safe throughout the ride. Traveling in a comfortable 4x4, we explored the stunning landscapes of Tataouine, Chenini, and Matmata, soaking in the beauty of the desert and the history of the Berber villages.
Swimming in the thermal oasis was refreshing, and the night under the stars in a Saharan camp was magical. The Tunisian food served throughout the trip was absolutely delicious, making the experience even more special.
Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the heart of the Tunisian desert!

After I asked for a partial refund I got offered a voucher for a trip to flamingo island, unfortunately I wasn't in Tunisia anymore.
