Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- J T5 contributionsRelatively small, attractive beach full of mostly European tourists. No waves when I was there. Massages offered beachside.Written 14 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- DGSmanilaBangkok, Thailand390 contributionsGreat spot for sunset - although it get very crowded at that time.

- Karen W1 contributionOn a rainy day we were well sheltered on our our covered shing pontoon. The guides were so friendly and knowledgeable. It's a great atmosphere there. Good food served too. A slow start but bagged a lovely pacu (a first for me, the ones with weird teeth!). Would definitely recommend and will return.Written 1 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Peter R7 contributionsA bit overwhelming at first even though we chose a good time in early evening. Apparently lunch time is very busy.
So you choose and buy your own seafood and take it across the road where a restaurant will give you a menu from which you choose how you want the fish, crab, razor clams, prawns or whatever you have bought should be cooked.
Choose at least two things or do it in relays one at a time. Very affordable compared to Western style or city sea food restaurants.Written 26 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We walked 10 minutes through the trees to get to an even more secluded part of the island. Well worth the trek. Only 11 people on this part of the beach. 3-4 hours is enough.Written 27 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Maegan F4 contributionsCame here for a birthday party. Everything was well prepared and the kids had a fantastic time. I think the only improvement could have been for staff to clear the table and not leave food/dirty dishes out for hours.Written 8 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - pattjx2222Bangkok, Thailand49 contributionsWe went as a group of friends (4 ppl) for a one day trip by sailing catamaran. The whole trip was worth the money. Although not much activity to do on the island, but if you like a very private beach with nice blue sea and white sand. You'd love this island as much as we do!Written 16 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Ciao Du11 contributionsOne of the rare snorkeling spots with a reef close to beach.
But the restaurant has been abandoned and they are building a resort there now 😭.
Parking for cars has been fenced off.
You see mostly Russian residents and tourists. Especially on weekends 🤔, many walking on the corals and some even fishing with spear guns.
In high season, the hydro foil surfers ruin it for snorkeling and diving.
It's crazy to think the authorities don't protect this at all, given it's one of the only popular places on Phuket snorkeling was possible. Overtourism...Written 10 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Very nice ambience with a real Thailand feel, compared to so much "concrete and tile" at so many other places. Excellent quality [not typical] Live music on Friday nights by a talented musician that we enjoyed so much we visited again two more times even though we were no longer staying there.Written 12 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Troy H170 contributionsThis is a great little beach. The water is safe for all ages and is nice and quiet for Phuket beaches. There is fruit sellers on the beach and its a good spot just to chilland unwind.Written 7 March 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
