Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very good for families and also if you are curious about monkeys! The site is safe and well laid out with lots of staff. The monkey groups are normally in good humour and it does not feel threatening to be close to them. Follow the trail directions for a good walk and it takes about an hour. As staying in Ubud, we did this but I would suggest for a couple, you need to want to come here as a long way from the south.

I had an incredible experience at today's workshop, which brought together a perfect blend of practices for grounding, presence, and personal growth. We explored everything from CO2 tolerance and oil pulling to walking barefoot and building community. The somatic presence exercises, ice bath, and breathwork were especially transformative, allowing me to connect deeply with my body and mind.

Starting the day with this combination of practices was truly refreshing—it felt like a complete reset and left me feeling centered and intentional. I highly recommend this workshop for anyone looking to elevate their quality of life, cultivate mindfulness, and bring a sense of purpose to their day. It’s an amazing way to begin the morning from a place of grounded awareness rather than just going with the flow. Loved every minute of it!

We went for the Ancient Sound Healing. The set up, the environment and the people are great. Maybe because I've been to a lot of sound healing sessions - was not too impressed, feeling slightly commercialized - so giving it 4/5. But still, it's a perfect place for beginners to experience sound healing!

Our guides Wayan and Made were friendly, attentive, and helpful. They also doubled as our photographers and videographers (it’s tough being a guide these days), helping us to capture the magical moment of sunrise and friendship. We were given the choice of doing the lesser used trail to go up to Mt. Batur so that we could enjoy the serenity of hiking in the darkness and enjoy stargazing. On the way down, we also did the lesser used rim trek, allowing us to see the remnants of several volcanic eruptions. The only downside of this way down was all the flies (not their fault and probably the same no matter which way down). Thanks again Wayan and Made for making our trek so memorable!

Maureen is kind, warm and incredibly accurate.
I had a bioenergetic analysis with Maureen, and she was spot on. I have been struggling in my life for a little while - no sense of direction, feeling really low. WOWSERS - I have left with clear direction and a sense of purpose. I had my analysis about 4 days ago, and every single day since has been better than the last!
Maureen helped me shift whatever was holding me back, and now I am living with a renewed sense of purpose! Everything she said has resonated with me, and I am finally movign forward again.
My only regret is that I didn't see her earlier in my trip!
I will definitely be coming back to see Maureen!

The combined bike tour in the morning with rafting in the afternoon exceeded all expectations of quality, value, safety and enjoyment. Our tour guides, Yoga and Augus and our driver Febri were exceptional on a professional level but more importantly connected to our hearts, it was like finding family, and a sense of belonging. Every single aspect was perfect, from the hotel pick up, to the delicious breakfast and lunch at Green Buku, to the cycling route and guidance. A beautiful tour combining Balinese culture, great food, exceptional scenery, exhilarating rafting on the Agung River and true hospitality.
Meeting Darma was a special treat.

Also this year we ask Wirta Pande for a daily tour. Last year his cousin Made has shown us the West Side and the middle of Bali, this year the South coast. We were very sadisfied for each tour. We have seen a lot of interesting things, and learnt a lot of the Bali culture, thanks to Made.

We decided to do the camping under Mount Batur to start the morning trekk.it was definitely a night/day to remember. We camped at the starting point of the trekk. Tents were already laid out for us with sleeping bags and mats inside. We enjoyed a dinner in front of the fireplace and we went to bed under the most beautiful sky with stars. At 3am we were awaken to have some coffee and start the trekk uphill. The view of the sunrise at the top of the volcano was amazing. They gave us a boiled egg and banana sandwich at the top for breakfast. We walked a little bit further up top to appreciate the hot steams after the sun had risen. After that we came back down and were driven to the hot springs to spend an hour in a “resort like” facility with stunning view to the lake. We skipped the coffee plantation included in the tour as we had already tried the luwak variety. Driver took us to have lunch and then to hotel.

We did the Mt Batur sunset hike, coffee plantation tour and waterfalls.
Tour was amazing from start to finish. Our driver picked us up from our hotel, clean van and friendly service. We had two lovely young women guide us on the trek - they were amazing. When some of our crew couldn’t make it the whole way, one tour guide led them back to the motorbikes so that they could get a ride up as far as they could go. The other tour guide continue to lead rest of us up. They made sure that we were safe and stable the entire way, encouraging when we thought it was too much. The views from the top were amazing and worth every bit.
The coffee plantation was very interesting and again, the guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. Samples of teas and coffees were great.
Trip to waterfall was beautiful and a great way to finish the morning off with a refreshing swim.
Would definitely recommend this company, particularly for the Mt Batur sunrise trek.

Highly recommend! The equipment was top-notch and safe. The route was exciting and well-planned. The guides were professional and attentive, making us feel secure. Compared to a similar experience in southern France, the quality and professionalism here are far superior. Don't miss it!

Sue is a very knowledgeable guide and makes the whole experience a real joy. The rice fields are quite spectacular and host a wide variety of plants in addition to the birdwatching. Sue gave a very informed talk about the growing of the rice. We also saw a wide variety of birds, animals and insects. thanks to Sue’s ability to spot them and we learnt about their habits and what they eat.
It was a fabulous nature walk and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. Thank you very much Sue :)
