We were picked up from Ubud Palace and then taken to a market and rice field prior to the cooking school location. At the cooking school location, we joined up with another group from a different pickup location. There was a whole team teaching the various Balinese dishes that we learned to cook. They were very informative, friendly and wonderful to learn from. After creating the dishes, we sat down to a lunch of everything we created. It was a wonderful experience!

The market visit was very cool to see all the produce and learn about the ingredients we were using for the class

Lovely afternoon cooking experience started with hotel pickup by Putu and her husband. The cooking was fun and made very simple by Putu and her Auntie and the final result was a delicious meal.
More than just a cooking class Putu introduced us to Balinese living and gardening and we left satisfied with a fantastic holiday experience.

It was so nice, the staff was really friendly and funny. They teach you a lot in a couple of hours. And the food was so good! Can’t wait to make this at home.

Truly exceptional experience, from the market visit to the farm garden harvesting to the well organized cooking experience. We learned a lot and made delicious food. Our guide Wayan also recorded our experience with a fantastic video that he shared with us. I’ve been to many cooking classes around the world and this one is special!

I highly recommend this experience. An informative introduction to Balinese food and culture. I picked up new cooking techniques and appreciated being mentored by the trainers. Attending the morning markets was also a highlight. Thank you to Lesung Bali for this amazing experience.

My family (11 people total) went to Dewa's home for a cooking class and it was the highlight of our trip! I enjoyed the food and his home and doing an activity together. However, the car ride to and from the house with Dewa was the most impactful. Dewa shared a bit about his philosophy on life and it was just so refreshing.

Really kind and helpful people who picked up up from the hotel, took me to market, took me to a stunning coffee garden to sample some coffees, and showed me how to cook a feast of Balinese food which was more than enough to eat, for only 350k idr (less than £20 in UK)

The best tea was the mangosteen, best food was the curry and the noodles in my opinion, and I loved the view of the jungle and mountain from the kitchen... what an amazing backdrop to cook to!

My wife and I had such an amazing evening with Gusti and the Authentic Balinese Cooking Class! We were picked up on time and brought to the place where we would learn how to cook Balinese style. First we toured the family home and then got right to cooking. This was such a fun and informative class. From the moment we walked through the spice and fruit garden to the minute we sat down to eat we learned so much and are so grateful we took this class

We would highly recommend this class for anyone interested in authentic Balinese cooking. You will love satisfied and definitely full!

First off I want to say this experience was 10 out of 10! Not only did I learn a lot about the Balinese culture but the food was fun to make! Surprisingly after we finished cooking our driver let us know we had two other stops. One being a beautiful temple and an amazing waterfall. Our driver Vito was an amazing tour guide he answered all historical questions! Over the time spent with Vito, he became our friend. We plan on calling him again when we would like to go to cool places! Once again one our favorite experiences!!!!

My partner and I really enjoyed the cooking class, the trip to the market was wonderful. We have done cooking classes in a few countries and this was by far the best. We learned a lot about Bali and the culture from Sunday, your welcoming host. He speaks perfect English and is able to describe lots about food and Bali, always checking if you have any questions. The food was wonderful and everything was very well organised, I would highly recommend this class.

We've traveled the world, taking a good number of cooking classes in different countries. This class was by far the best we've experienced! We learned so much about their cooperative farming effort, and we even harvested some of our ingredients! Our team of instructors and support folks were very enthusiastic! They were delightful and affirming of everyone in our group at every stage of the meal prep! This was a fun and energetic celebration of Balinese food and culture!

We had a fantastic morning at Jambangan Bali Cooking Class! Putu was a wonderful instructor, he was kind, funny, and full of knowledge about Balinese culture and cuisine. He made the class both fun and educational, sharing great tips on how to recreate the dishes at home with easy ingredient substitutes.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the hospitality from Putu, Rakesh, and their family made us feel truly welcomed. It was a warm, memorable experience, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bali.

Spending the morning learning, laughing, and cooking in such a warm and welcoming environment was truly special. Thank you, Putu, Rakesh, and your wonderful family, for opening your home to us and making this such a fantastic experience!
