Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Indra was amazing every moment of the day he took care of us and made our day so special! We had the most fabulous day even with the rain! We visited so many places and loved them all! Of course the highlight was the giant swing and lunch and the temple was magical! Thank you Indra for making our day so full of special memories that will last a lifetime!

Our driver and guide for the day was Aris/Krisna. From the start, he was friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic.

He picked us up from our hotel around 8:30am and took us to a batik collective followed by a place where we could see silver jewellery being made.

But he really lit up when he took us to a temple and told us about his religion and culture. I really enjoyed the temple and loved hearing about some of the rituals and ceremonies. Throughout the day we asked about his family and he happily shared information about his life with us.

We visited a waterfall, which was beautiful (although I knew we were canyoning the next day and would be seeing many waterfalls in closer proximity) and we saw some picturesque views.

As we visited in December, the rainy season, it was pouring down as we entered The Monkey Forest and all the monkeys went into hiding. It was still a beautiful walk and towards the end the monkeys were beginning to come out. I think Aris was worried that we were not getting the most of this part of the tour but we explained that you can’t control the weather and he took some great pictures of us doing Charlie’s Angels impressions with our umbrellas. And this reminds me that he took some great pictures of us throughout the day so we didn’t have to rely on a bunch of selfies. And he made us - a middle aged couple - look rather good.

We stopped for just over an hour at The Ubud Royal Palace and also got to look around the market where we had fun haggling!

Aris chose a great place for a late lunch where we ate well and the restaurant were very knowledgeable and respectful of my many dietary requirements!

The rice fields were great. I can’t believe that I have got so far through life not knowing how one of my staple foods is grown and harvested. We even got to have a go!

The tour was made great by Aris and his ability to tell a story in really impressive English. We felt so lucky and grateful to have had such a thoughtful and attentive guide who made stop offs when we needed to pick up some things for later. We arrived back around 7pm after a fully packed day.

    Would totally recommend!

I was picked up bright and early by my guide for the day, Eka, and headed to Tanah Lot. It was an excellent first stop as it gives you a taste of adventure to make your early morning worth it. I received a good explanation of the Temple and the nuances of how a temple works. Our next stop was (breakfast) and then Danau Beratan which I loved for a few reasons; it's naturally beautiful being on a lake and surrounded by flowers, but also there were animals! I've never held an owl or a lewak and I got the opportunity to do both! Eka took so many photos/videos for me! Definitely a highlight of my vacation so far! From there we went to a waterfall, where I was thrilled to find out it wasn't too cold to swim, and got more awesome photos before finishing my day at lunch at one of the rice fields. Overall, an excellent day, excellent tour, I would highly recommend!

The travel time from Kuta to Sanur Port is 30-45 minutes, and from Sanur Port to Nusa Penida Port is 45 minutes. The trip was okay, but there were big waves. Once we arrived at the port, we were asked to wait for our tour guide/driver, who informed us that our first activity was snorkeling at three different locations: Gamat Bay, The Wall, and another spot close to the port where you can see sea turtles. The current was strong, so my friend and I skipped the last site. The beach could have been beautiful if not for the plastic rubbish everywhere. The marine life, however, is gorgeous.

After roughly two hours, we had to wait again until our tour guide asked us to ride the van/car and head to our early lunch, about 40 minutes away, at a nice restaurant with beautiful views of the scenery and landscape. The food was great, especially the Ayam Betutu, Chapay, and Tempe. After lunch, we headed to Kelingking Beach, which is 15 minutes away. It was gorgeous, with shops and restaurants lined up and an awesome view. According to our guide/driver, people can go down to the beach, but it would take an hour to go down and back, so we skipped it as the trail is narrow and steep.

Then we went to two more beach sites, Angel Billabong and Broken Beach. Unfortunately, they are not swimmable, but they are gorgeous and great for photo ops. We were asked if we wanted to go to Crystal Beach or elsewhere, but we opted to go back to the port as it started to rain. Overall, the experience was great, but it's sad that Bali is like a trash site now. I don't know if it's because of the monsoon season, but there is a lot of rubbish. I still recommend visiting at least once, considering the ocean is great for surfers, and the friendly Balinese people are something special. However, I would say that Koh Samui, Phi Phi, Boracay, Palawan, Siargao, Panglao, or Bantayan Islands are simply gorgeous and "viewtiful."

Make sure to book your tour packages here or through other activity sites/apps for cheap rates and deals. Our package for two cost only 125$ which includes transportations (land&sea), entrance fees, lunch buffet, bottled water. Subscribe to my YouTube channel as well at Yeye Kasilag. Thanks and safe travels, Gorgeous 😘

This was such a fantastic trip made so special by our driver and guide Bagus, who had an astonishing knowledge of the history and culture of Bali. Not only was he such a superb guide, who spoke excellent English, but he also took many pictures and videos for us throughout the trip. I strongly recommend this trip to others and suggest you ask for Bagus as your guide.

We had a great day visiting some highlights of Bali with our driver Nyoman.
Nyoman is attentive to our needs and helped us taking nice pictures. Unfortunately Ulun Danu Beratan and Tanah Lot temples have become overcrowded by mass tourism. Taman Ayun is much more enjoyable and quiet, and we were happy was inccluded in our tour.

As a young girl and solo-traveller, I was really nervous about booking a guided tour but this trip was amazing. My driver Aditya was caring, knowledgable and incredibly charismatic. I actually booked this for myself but invited two of my new friends to join me, we were picked up in our separate cars and driven to the temple. Our guides took us around the temple to all the best photo spots and explained the history, culture and spiritual meaning behind the temple. We joined together as a group to watch the show and then were driven seperately to the restaurant, where we sat together for the seafood dinner. The platter was delicious and a perfect amount of food, the bottle of water and coconut was greatly appreciated after a warm evening. A local band were playing chilled out songs and rotating around the tables, it was a lovely atmosphere and really fun. The waiters and band were really friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend this trip for anyone solo-travelling - even if my friends hadn’t joined for the dance and dinner, I would have felt comfortable and enjoyed myself!

We were out with our guide Aditya who was really kind funny and helpful. He took a lot of fotos of us and was easy to have conversation with. I thought he was so good so we asked him if he could drive us the day after to. He made plans with us and recommended a lovely beach which he took us to and then he stayed with us the whole day. I give this a 10/10

My driver Debobo was timely and friendly. I booked the vehicle for 8 hours and used it to see the rice terraces in Tagalalang and also Tegenungan waterwall afterwards. I was staying in Legian and it was a sufficient amount of time (with some to spare) from pickup to drop off. I would use this service again.
