- RussellMelbourne, Australia747 contributionsMy wife and I visited the Jama Masjid as part of a Golden Triangle tour with the TripaDeal group in February.
It was very interesting, but you must remove your shoes, women have to wear long gowns and men, if wearing shorts, have to wear a "wrap". These are hired at the entrance.
It has very interesting architecture and was very busy, with a few different entrances.

- SaurabhmhaLucknow, India74 contributionsI always had the desire to visit Bateshwar, the abode of Shiva while crossing Agra - Lucknow expressway and finally made a decision to take a detour one day and it was worth it.
Its a set of some 40 temples out of which only few can be visited but the place is so peaceful on the banks of Yamuna that it attracts you towards it.It is generally not very crowded and one can sit on the banks of Yamuna in the early morning or evenings.
Do carry your own stuff to eat and there are no proper toilets and stay arrangements.I wish such an important place (mentioned in many religious scriptures) is better maintained!Written 4 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - stantp1916Farakka, India1,247 contributionsI happened to come across this temple on my way back from Agra. Interesting that I found this listed in Tripadvisor. The credit goes to my driver who insisted on a stop here and it was no disappointment at all. The temple was beautiful, peaceful and serene. I took a full round of the temple and enjoyed the ambience. The shiv linga was really admirable. Loved it.Written 13 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
