Sorry it took so long to write this so here it is. We did 2 days of diving with Matthew and Sara last year. Excellent hosts and dive masters, did everything they could make the diving as easy s possible. Wonderful time and yes, I would go back.
    5 out of 5 without a doubt!!

Was travelling to JMC as a family with three girls aged 20, 16 and 11. The youngest two completed their open water course with Kini and then joined the rest of us who were already certified at a few of the reefs and Marine Park a short boat trip away. The children received amazing tuition and attentiveness the entire time. Highly professional outfit with high ratio of dive staff : divers and a strong focus on safety was evident. Everyone on the team was super friendly and went out of their way to ensure that all divers had a spectacular time whilst accommodating the difference in experience levels aboard. Dan, Thomas, Kini, Aggie, Leo and everyone else - thanks for a wonderful time. Prices were not cheap - but diving in exotic locations rarely is. Reef sharks, manta rays, sea turtles, soft corals, etc. Plenty to see - and the night dive was also a highlight of the trip. I am sure these will be memories for the kids to last a lifetime. And it was wonderful being able to share the experience with them and the JMC diving team.

I did 3 days of freediving with them and I absolutely enjoyed the feeling of calm and relaxation.

Neelam and Tobi are great people, fun to be with and are very passionate about the ocean and you can really feel that they both love what they do. Diving with them is very safe and personal and they are teaching with unwavering encouragement.

Highly recommend this place! Just go and book it – you won't be disappointed. The whole experience and the hot shower after the diving session was 5 stars.

Thank you Neelam and Tobi I will be back for more!

I have been completely spoiled by my experience diving with Dive Savusavu. Everyone was absolutely amazing. I am a pretty new diver and everyone went out of their way to assess my current experience and comfort level and tailored my dives accordingly, beginning with Maureen and Rodney when I first arrived. After that I had a couple of incredible dives with Gina, the turtle whisperer (we saw a turtle on both of our dives!), and Jope. Gina went out of her way to take me out even when it was just me and her, and she really gave me a personal tour of the awe-inspiring reefs and marine life. I wanted to practice skills so I could get more comfortable, so she did that with me too. I know I saw so many more things than I would have otherwise seen. In addition, everyone was extremely flexible with the scheduling as I was here during some suboptimal diving weather (rainy season)- they really let me go and do whatever I wanted every day! I can't say enough nice things and definitely plan to return.

We have done two spearfishing/fishing trips with Immersion, both were excellent experiences! They were both longer 1/2 week trips, there is a lot of flexibility to mix and match what you would like to do.

Mike is not only a great line fisho but an excellent Spearo too. He was able to help us with our hunting techniques and it was comforting having such a competent diver with us.

The off grid experience was very unique and enjoyable! We got onto some great fish during both trips and ticked off plenty of new species - highly recommend!

Meeting the people in the village and being shown a traditional style of living was a fascinating and a wonderful experience. Going on to the Waterfall and swimming in the crystal clear water and the deluge was refreshing and huge fun. The mud bath at the Hot Springs just topped of an exceptional Fijian experience. Highly recommended when in Savusavu. Elayne is the best with a wealth of local knowledge to make the adventure just a little bit better.

A wonderful day out with Michael for River Tubing and a visit to the hot mud pool. Michael was an amazing guide full of insights into life in Savusavu, he knew everyone and showed us many hidden spots.
We started with a 30 minute drive to the tubing spot. An ‘interesting’ walk through the bush and mud to the river’s edge was rewarded by clear, free flowing water and a sunny sky. Drifting down the river for about an hour was magical with a few small ‘rapids’ and stretches of peaceful quiet water. The roti wrap for lunch was delicious (from Mum’s Country Kitchen in Savusavu). A short drive took us to a hidden entrance to the mud pools. A little tricky to reach and enter the pool but we’ll worth the effort. The recent rain meant the water was cloudy but once we found the hotspots we were in heaven. The warm iron sands on the bottom of the pool were bliss to sink your feet into or to scoop up and layer onto your skin. We spent an hour in the pools and were slowly joined by the ladies and children from the local village. It was very special indeed. We finished the day with a river swim and wash before Michael drove us back to our resort.
Huge shout out to Michael who was an informative, entertaining, cheeky and thoroughly local guide. That coconut blow to the head a few days earlier did not hold him back.

We spent a day with friends at Daku Resort in mid April organized by Aubrey. We had previously visited in 2019. We had gorgeous weather. In the morning we had a superb snorkel tour by boat out on the reef in the bay - superb coral, really good visibility and great fish. Our guide George was very knowledgeable and led our around the area. After a break and drink at the pool we had a wonderful massage before returning to our ship. We would highly recommend Daku for those both staying on Savusavu and those visiting by ship. Bula vinaka Daku.

We went fishing and snorkelling in the Bay, which was great fun! It was a unique opportunity to have an activity only in couple, without crowds of people as you find in larger tour operators. Much recommended!

Savusavu helicopters provided the highlight of our Fiji honeymoon.
Picking us up from our resort ‘Savasi Island’ .
The pilot was friendly and accommodating.
The views from the helicopter were sensational!
The cheese and sparkling wine were highlights of a very generous and delicious lunch.
Exploring a little island all to yourself was an experience we will always treasure.

There wasn't much to choose from, but what they did have was beautiful. There was a big rain the day we went, so the snorkeling wasn't ideal.

We dove with Rock n Down Under divers for 6 days during our trip to Fiji and found them to be very friendly and professional. They have a small boat, which we liked, no cattle boat here. Backward roll off to get in the water, and getting back on the boat is easy too, take off your equipment in the water and they will pull it aboard (no climbing onto the boat with all that heavy equipment). On most days it was just my partner and I diving with them so we had lots of personal attention. I rented gear from them and it was in good condition. Bogi and Bil, our dive master and boat captain, were great, they are local Fijians showing their underwater world to to anyone who wishes to see it. The diving in Savusavu bay was good for us, we have been to Hawaii and the Carribean, so I can't compare it to other south pacfiic diving. We loved it. Kathy, the owner was very nice and great with email responses before the trip and phone calls during the trip. She went above and beyond with personal service, even calling the airline on our last day to see if our flights were on time so we wouldn't have to wait at the airport. All in all a great group of people, we will dive with them again when we return to Savusavu!

We were lucky enough to stay in a house next door to the resort and went into the resort to ask about hiring some extra snorkelling equipment and eating at the restaurant and bar. The reception staff member was rude and surpercillious , she had a very condescending manner, considering we had been told that there were not many guests as it was the off season, the treatment was certainly uncalled for and not welcoming at all. As to being able to hire equipment once again the female staff member in the dive shop was rude and condescending, saying that the equipment was for the guests and she would have to check with a manager to see if she could possibly hire anything to us. Once again not welcoming and rude. The barman on the other hand was lovely and friendly what we had come to be accustomed to in Fiji. All in all I was vary vary disappointed in the manner and manners of the staff at this resort consider it has such rave reviews, certainly a low light of our trip to Fiji.
