Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great sunrise tour in Angkor Wat. Mr Chong was great, probably the best tour guide I have experienced in my 6 months in South East Asia. He is very passionate and knowledgeable, great sense of humour and explained the history very well. Thoroughly enjoyed the day. Do not hesitate to book!

    Truly awe-inspiring...

The tour with Niem was excellent-- with his archaeology background and specific research into the sites, we had brilliant insight into the temples. A highlight was a lesser visited temple that we would not have thought to visit on our own.

Everything was organized for us to maximize our time-- and he was responsive to any preference we had. His guide experience brought us to the best spots for viewing at every place. (As an aside, he took excellent pictures for us!)

    Would definitely recommend.

Varied day in comfortable mini bus.
Very knowledgeable guide who was willing to take great photos.
Very little walking involved apart from some steps up to the reclining Buddha and down to the waterfall.
Plenty of time in all areas with changing facilities and a locker when you swim at the waterfall.
Amazing viewpoint and stopped at a restaurant for late lunch where food was great.
    Overall a great day out.

We had Sa as our tour guide and he was absolutely wonderful. He was so knowledgeable, patient, and led us but at our pace. Never rushed or slow. Sa was obviously very experienced and could judge the flow of other visitors to always keep us in the vest possible spots.

The tour itself is excellent. From watching the sunrise over Angor Wat, to walking around the wonderful temples, every step left us with our jaws hanging open. The sights are tremendous!

Panha is amazing! I highly recommend him for tours based out of Siem Reap. He is super knowledgeable, speaks excellent English, is very friendly, flexible with travel plans and pickup, and has a comfortable vehicle with lots of space.

We booked Panha’s Preah Vihear tour because it was highly recommended. We wanted to see this place as its one of the most significant temples in Cambodia and a UNESCO World Heritage site, yet few visitors to Siem Reap ever make the journey. It’s an ancient Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva completed in the 12th century atop a mountain and along Cambodia’s borders with Thailand and Laos. This temple has an interesting history including military battles with Thailand only a decade and a half ago over ownership of the temple! And unlike the major temples of Angkor, it is not crowded.

On the way back, Panha surprised us with a stop at Koh Ker, a massive temple in the form of a 7-tiered pyramid. And Koh Ker is one of the few pyramids in Cambodia you can actually climb, which we did. It’s not a difficult climb like some of the temples in Angkor since it has platforms for the different tiers. We also checked out another temple near Koh Ker, with trees from the jungle growing out of the temple, that we had all to ourselves with no other visitors!

We enjoyed our day trip to Preah Vihear with Panha so much that we asked him to do an additional half-day trip the following day where we visited Bantea Srei and Beng Mealea. Bantea Srei is a 10th century Hindu temple in Siem Reap with detailed carvings in red sandstone. Beng Mealea was one of my favorite temples in all of Cambodia as its a ruined temple engulfed by the jungle. You visit the site along a raised platform that follows the interior. With the large trees growing up and around the whole temple, it is almost entirely in the shade. Truly breathtaking!

We want to thank Panha for guiding us to these extraordinary places and creating such a memorable experience for our visit to Cambodia! Do reach out to Panha (Angkor Cab) if you want to enjoy private tours to some amazing places near Siem Reap!

Honestly, this is a wonderful tour, but less about the food than having a mind-blowingly authentic experience in Siem Reap and the beautiful surrounding area. You truly are transported by tuk tuk where no other tourists go! The sunset in the rice field was stunning and seeing the local children who live there was delightful. When they say they are taking you where no other tourists go, believe it! The village was beyond authentic, and the dinner in the local home was interesting and pretty wonderful. Returning to the city for a cocktail in the charming bar was a great way to end the tour! Highly recommend and would do it again!

We had such an incredible experience with our guide Chenda and other travelers coming from all across the world. The guide was so friendly and knowledgeable. Because of his nice and friendly personality, all of us “Team Chenda” got chances to get to know each other as a group throughout the tour. We learned a lot about the history of Cambodia and exchanged other cultures as well. Thank you for making our trip memorable!

This experience was amazing , an early start and long day but worth every step ! it is incredible the workmanship and engineering that went into these incredible temples . Sauron Pal was our guide, he was very knowledgeable and did a fabulous job as did the driver . The continuous cold water bottles and cooling cloths were really appreciated . I will remember this day forever 😄

Nice ride around rural Siem Reap. Checked out local farms and enjoyed the scenery while getting some exercise. The rice wine distillery was my favorite.

Dorn our guide was very personable and knowledgeable. He answered all our questions and made sure we were okay (for the less adventurous of us) with the food. And, he picked us up at our hotel. Thanks Dorn, it was great to meet you.

Had a lovely time at the cooking class with instructor Sopheap. We had a 3 course meal with the option to cook two different starters and two different mains.
