Created by Franco Dragone, the mastermind behind some of the world’s most dazzling theatrical spectacles, La Perle is unlike anything else you’ll experience in the Middle East—or anywhere, for that matter.
From the moment you step into the intimate, purpose-built theater in Al Habtoor City, you’re transported into a world where reality bends and water flows from nowhere. The stage? A 2.7-million-liter pool that vanishes and reappears at will. The performers? A cast of fearless aerialists, motorcyclists, and dancers who fling themselves through the air, plunge from insane heights, and seemingly breathe underwater.
There’s a loose storyline about an Arabian dreamscape, but honestly, logic isn’t the point. This show is about pure, visceral sensation—one moment, you’re awestruck by a performer somersaulting from a 25-meter platform; the next, you’re laughing at an absurd comedic interlude. Then, just as you catch your breath, a motorcycle stunt sequence explodes in a metal sphere, defying all sanity.

It is located near Dubai Mall and a repeated show occur every half an hour between 6 pm to 11 pm, and the recommended time is after sun set. The music and the show change each time. - Rajat GuptaChennai (Madras), India18 contributionsBurj Khalifa, the largest building in the world, is quite amazing to see from the outside. It just takes 77 seconds to reach 125th floor, the initial view is really mesmerizing. However, as soon as you enter the floor, you see a lot of crowd and it becomes really hot in there. You need to get a good spot for clicking the photographs, once you are in the open air. (We got it, but many people were just waiting to get their turn). There is a cafe inside, which is again very expensive, as per Dubai standards. Then comes the biggest challenge, the going down part. We had to wait for almost 1 hour for our turn to go down. We were taken by a different exit and landed up in the lift of Armani hotel (the hotel is amazing, however the time taken to get down was a big challenge). The management have to seriously re look the total experience. Overall an average experience.
