I always thought of myself as a very sensitive person, someone who easily breaks into tears at any story. But today, I met Loida. She was in tears as she spoke about the founding of the museum and her deep admiration for Professor Rafia, with whom she's worked for several years. It is an art gallery with a cost cafe and restaurant. I recommend coming in just to see the artwork. Not sure how frequently it’s changed but we really enjoyed some of the art installations by local artists.

Amazing collection of art pieces from Central Asia, which can be purchased there.Perfect location, not overcrowded, so u can enjoy your time.Very friendly and welcoming staff, who can consult on any artwork. The gallery has a strong permanent collection of contemporary visual arts. One steps into a courtyard surrounded by art and an incredibly charming studio space. Their artists that they work with are extremely talented and they all utilise a variety of techniques to present amazing art pieces with mixtures of different styles and textures. The gallery's style of pop art is exceptionally unique and makes it stand out from all the other galleries in Dubai. The gallery has diverse styles from affordable to extreme high end private viewing highest quality of artworks by celebrity Emirati and International Eurabian artists. Even if you are not going to buy, I strongly recommend you visit to get a feel-good factor. The Gallery makes you feel fresh and elevates your spirit.You would also learn about the culture and traditions of United Arab Emirates. Saw the exhibition area and the creativity corner. Shot a few videos. I stumbled upon Dubai's new Sovereign art gallery, and was pleasantly stunned to see some of the world's best known Indian masterpieces on show. Even plebian tastes can appreciate the pioneers of Modern Indian art - MF Husain, VS Gaitonde, SH Raza and the like.
You will get a bonus if the curator is in residence at this gallery. He is knowledgeable, jovial, gracious, and very generous with his time if you are asking questions (I confess I had several dozen questions).
Drop in, look around, study the works on the walls, and enjoy a wonderful conversation. You will leave knowing more about art than you have ever done. We visited the 'mind the gap' exhibition which features local artists.
