Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- FloreArad, Romania1,661 contributionsDo not hesitate to visit this mosque! The price of an entrance ticket is 1 Euro. After climbing 144 spiral steps, you reach the top of the minaret. This is one of the best places from where you will see, from above, Constanța. From here you will see a beautiful view of Ovidiu Square and the harbor.Written 29 September 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - KiwiKerry53Wellington, New Zealand4,648 contributionsThe Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul otherwise known as Holy Apostles Peter and Paul Romanian Orthodox Episcopal Cathedral. Wow, it was a busy time at the cathedral and it felt a bit intrusive going inside. The interior was amazing, beautiful paintings and so much history. Really glad, I decided to go in.Written 14 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- KiwiKerry53Wellington, New Zealand4,648 contributionsA great introduction to Romania's fascinating past. Lots of national treasures. It was fascinating and I can honestly say I had never seen ancient baby feeding vessels before - looking more like a breast and nipple than the conventional ones I am used to. We were on a tour and and tight schedule, I would have liked to spend more time here.Written 14 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dragos CBistrita, Romania40 contributionsAt the time of my visit, the restoration works had not yet been completed. I look forward to the next visit and hope that the works will be finished. I think the result will exceed expectations.Written 7 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- vip_foodieBengaluru, India1,374 contributionsI took a pirate themed boat ride at this port of Black Sea, Constana city. This city is one of the oldest city of Romania. Cost for the boat ride was 30 Lei. I throughly enjoyed the boat ride as it was wobbling with the waves in the sea. The port is quite beautiful and there are many restaurants as well alongside the port.Written 27 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - simtrainBucharest, Romania65 contributionsVery nice and beautiful church. I've been to multiple events here and it was fantastic. I've seen a lot of churches across Romania that have a similar architecture to this one. The thing that is very cool about this church is that everything is carved and made out of wood. All the furniture and decorative items are carved in wood. And also this church is newer; it was made in the 1990's.
The location is quite unique too. There is some parking on the side of the lake that is offered. If you are into photography, this is a great place to photograph. Especially if you go around 6-8 pm. Then, the colors and everything really stand out.Written 27 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Our stay was a relaxing getaway in a truly amazing location. From the start, we appreciated the ease of reaching the cabins, and upon arrival, we were pleased to find everything clean and well-maintained.
One aspect that we genuinely loved was the pet-friendly policy of this place. Being able to bring our furry friend along added an extra layer of joy to our trip.
What set Tu & YA Cabins apart for us was the flexibility it offered. Whether you want to order food, cook up a meal, or have a barbecue, the choice is yours. This flexibility allowed us to spend quality time exactly how we wanted, and we enjoyed some delicious snacks in the privacy of our cabin.
We wholeheartedly recommend Tu & YA Cabins for a relaxing and comfortable nature retreat. Our experience was truly wonderful, and we're confident that you'll love this place as much as we did!Written 6 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Impressive.

If you want to understand the importance of this monument, you have to visit also the Traian Muzeum in Adamclisi.Written 21 June 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Unfortunately, it was closed for the holidays when I was here, but the building itself is impressive.
There are lots of restaurants around or near the square. It is a good meeting location and worth visiting.Written 27 December 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Saint Andrew, the first apprentice of Jesus, came here to spread the his word , and established the cave as head office, for the entire period he promote the Christianity on that land
from here he went to North, in nowadays Ukraine, and then to South, in Patras, Greece, where he died, crucified
during the communist regime, the church has been used as shelter for sheep, but this is not a surpriseWritten 20 October 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AndreeaConstantinBucharest, Romania402 contributionsFortress looking over the beautiful Danube.
We visited the site during a very windy day, it was a little bit hard to move over there but the stop really worth it.
We visited the site 10 years ago and it was in a deplorable state. What they did as the renovation point of view, is really nice. They still have to work and dig, but the things are going in the right way. Congrats!!!

Such a pity, what's here is something extraordinary, important and valuable and it deserves the same level of maintenance and touristic approach.
I understood it will enter soon in a renovation state. Let's hope this will happen and I will surely be back in a couple of years to see that come true....Written 5 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Constanta is a city initially built by Greeks, although few Greek buildings still stand nowadays.
It's a glimpse of Constanta's glorious past located in a picturesque quarter, right above the shoreline.
Worth visiting if you're around.Written 9 November 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I wonder who should maintain cleanliness there?Written 4 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
