It is a nice place to see. Very old and yet well preserved. The guided tour i went with was pretty lame though. The man talking did not speak english that well and he spoke quietly. Not interesting. (The woman that worked with him had a big yellow sign).

You should see the basement even though it cost a little bit (especially if you like history)

Beware of the roman soldiers. The ones I talked to near the center of the palace wanted me to come and pose with them, and I did so. What they didn't tell you before was that they expected 50 Croatian kuna each for posing about 45 seconds with me and 45s with my brother. They became angry if you didn't. I recommend you keep a distance if you don't want to become robbed.

The view is very good. Nice vistas in all directions. The cross is simple and elegant. A vigorous but not overwhelming climb and descent.

A nice place to visit full of character and charm, busy town with historic buildings and lots of cafes and eating venues ,
Shops selling local goods add to the. Experience in very narrow streets

Do the whole thing. The Treasury has the most information and artifacts. Well presented with English throughout. Climbing the bell tower was wonderful - a bit tight in spots. If claustrophobic, be careful. If limited mobility don’t try.

We stopped here on our way out of Split. At the top of a hillside it’s easy to see why this was first built as a fortress. Neat to see and explore although we wished the numbers on the map were also called out on the property to better tell where we were. They had a nice room of traditional clothing and weapons used by soldiers from different groups over time

Everyone takes a walk along the Riva at night. Some locals sing Croatian folk songs in groups. There is always something to see but the smell of the drains is bad!

Quite expensive compared to the other sites but can’t deny that it is a unique experience and for the reason I would say it’s not to be missed. The scenes are genuinely very funny and there is a lot to see.

Interesting details of history. The square is always busy. There is a changing of the guard enactment at 12md. Watch out for pickpockets!

One of the best beaches in Split. Only problem is it can get very crowed. I enjoyed my day on the beach. Had really good time.

It's a beautiful museum I can recommend!! Super cool place for young people and for those who watched the show. The staff was welcoming and gave me some more info I didn’t even know about :)

The 10th Century Rotation Bishop, quite an imposing bronze statue situated just outside the Golden Gate. Steeped in history and with a rather famous “big toe” (make sure and give it a rub) it’s well worth a visit and surrounded by a small park with an attractive water feature.

An old building with the church nave being separated by small street from the bell tower.
There is a small old graveyard next to the church and beautiful seaview towards the Brac island.

The market is a great place to see the locals selling their fruit, veg, flowers and other local goods. Beware the traders near the sea entrance by the ham and oil seller, they don’t show prices and there is a reason for that! We were charged 90kn or £9 for a few grapes and 2 tomatoes, he put them on the scales and off before they even stopped moving. Buy from the people more in the middle they are much more reasonable and you’ll get a much better deal and they appreciate the trade.
