Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very friendly staff. Got maps, lots of information on where to go etc. Wendy and Nadine were very helpful. It’s right beside the fuel station, Bakery & supermarket across the road.

I did the Dolly Beach tour with Chris !! It’s a very hot long walk so be prepared take water and definitely closed in walking shoes! Once we got there it was beautiful lots of rock pools not swimming! Deep enough for a cool plunge!! Lots of Robber crabs!! And blue crabs on the way there!! Christmas Island has unique landscaping!!

Park your car near the Grotto sign on the side of road, it’s easy to miss the sign. Missed the sign initially. Very short walk to Grotto. Absolutely stunning spot to visit. As I’m very short it was a bit difficult getting in and out of the Grotto. Would suggest wearing reef shoes and have a towel to put on rocks to kneel on hole climbing out.

Nice walk through the trees and lots of crabs. Wear good shoes. Has a board as you climb to the waterfall. That was just a dribble. BRING INSECT REPELLENT! Loads of mosquito 🦟

Absolutely beautiful spot to sit in the water and relax. Make sure you wear reef shoes if you have soft feet like me. Also leave your gear back up near your car as there some big random waves that come in and can wash your gear away.

A Marvellous experience. Arrived at Christmas Island on a nice August afternoon, waiting for us at the airport was none other than Hama himself who is the skipper of the Dive Boat “Feral”. Helped with the bags and we drove to the lodge. Hama provided bins to store out equipment and a Tag without our names. Now, its next morning at 7:30 AM we saw Hama drive by with the Boat trailing behind signalling an exciting WetnDry adventure. We met at the Flying Fish Cove Jetty without out BCD, Tanks and equipment already on the Boat. We met Lynnie and Anna who will be out dive guides in addition to Hama as they alternate days. Got the motor running, heading on the high waves, looking for adventure and whatever comes our way under the water. Two dive sites per trip and a snorkelling site or cave discovery. Perpendicular Wall (WOW), Thunder Cave, Rhoda Wall, Pool Side, Coral Gardens, Eidswold Wreck, Fuel Buoy 1 & 2 etc. Each site had its own magic and beauty. After each dive we are treated to a lovely muffin, coffee, tea, milo and Oreo cookies and some lollies. A snorkel with Giant Trevally fish or a cave adventure and a second dive. Back to the Jetty by midday for a surprise lunch. Hama also provided us with Tanks for shore dives and night dives. The afternoon was Trekking around the Island many attractions and beaches such as the magical “The Dales” Point, Ethel Beach, Lily Beach, the Grotto, Blowholes and others. At night we try the various restaurants or a barbecue under the lovely sunsets and stars. The whole trip was amazing and WetnDry made it very special. On the last day we visited the WetnDry dive shop, picked a few souvenirs and stamped out dive logs. Again, Hama assisted us with the luggage and drove us to the Airport for our departure from Paradise Christmas Island. Note, Lots of Santas little helpers (Red Crabs) but no Santa.
