Svit is very friendly and will answer all questions with enthusiasm and a deep knowledge of all circumstances surrounding the war. There are still loads of destroyed buildings and you still see millions of bullet holes in every neighbourhood. - CapitanlouGlasgow, UK101 contributionsSuper interesting and different experience in Kyiv. The bunker is full of artifacts and huge. The sewer trip down the manhole is a very different experience, make sure you are reasonably fit for it! You are given the overall boots so you don't get wet, make sure to take a belt to attach them to. At some point it did work but in other way my skin from now on can glow in the dark. - trotamundos0881Vienna, VA7 contributionsI visited Kyiv in August 2024 and enjoyed fabulous walking tours with both Liudmyla and Anton, who are two of the best guides I have had anywhere! They are both so knowledgeable, hospitable, and enthusiastic about introducing visitors to their beautiful, historic, and resilient hometown. Communications and arrangements were easily and quickly made via WhatsApp. Liudmyla provided a superb walk through ancient Kyiv, while Anton led me on a Jewish tour, including a visit to Babi Yar, and a tour of Podil. I had so many questions for both Liudmyla and Anton, and they patiently and expertly answered them all. - Sofia M3 contributionsBesides Victoria being so sweet and polite, she is very intelligent and willing to explain guide. She knew so much about every spot she showed and made everything 100% more interesting. It’s amazing to have a person who lived through the soviet era and that can explain us both her personal view and the historical one. Kyiv wouldn’t have been so awesome without her. I fell in love with the history of Ukraine, its people, culture and sights, and nothing of this could be possible if it wasn’t for Victoria. Our guide Alex explained everything very well and he did a wonderful job going in depth in Chernobyl’s story. He explained a lot of background, allowing us to learn a lot and gaining more background to the disaster.
