Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I hope the below info will be helpful for anyone.

Firstly, it's cash only, as mentioned previously.

Secondly, the only way to reduce the wait in a queue to a minimal is to come in about 30 min before opening. All tours are guided and they let certain number of visitors in to form a group. Coming that early will most likely guarantee you to be in the first group. Each tour for one group lasts exactly 30 min.

And the last but not least, as the tours are organised this particular way, there is no time dedicated for self-browsing - almost no photo or proper shopping opportunity. Our guide did a good job - no boring dates, all the information and facts were straight to a point and entertaining to listen to, although the whole pace made me feeling very rushed.

I found it really interesting, in rooms on either side of the mausoleum there is information about the death of Tito.

I was impressed when I learned that Belgrade is one of the most warlike cities historically in all of Europe. The museum is small, but nicely done. It is located in the Belgrade fortress.

I don't know why I say "surprisingly" nice, but I actually mostly enjoyed this museum. I took advantage of the free Sunday admission, as it seems a lot of others did.

First thing I noticed is that a lot of people were gathering in the main hall, I guess sort of an assembly or performance space? Wasn't sure what was going on, but around noon they had some live pianists playing music, which I thought was awesome. I didn't sit around to watch it, but the music added a nice atmosphere to the museum and echoed through the galleries, keeping chatter down.

They do lay out a bit of a chronological path for you, starting with the ground floor and making your way up to the [third] floor. The path is rudimentarily marked out with decals on the floor.

Sure, they lack a lot of 'famous' artwork, but what is art? Some of the work could be just as good as any of the crap that gets talked about time and time again from some of the other European or US museums. I thought some of the work was better, to be honest. But it's Serbian... no room for that in Art History textbooks right? On the other hand, there were some galleries that I blazed through, finding it uninteresting.

To each their own, but overall I was impressed and glad I went, as I had been on the fence about it.

Walked in somewhat unplanned since my walking tour was cancelled last minute. I was very pleased with the visit.

There are actually three floors of art to see. I was about to retrieve my jacket and bag when one of the employees asked if I had seen the -1 floor. It's sort of hidden in a smaller staircase. Glad I got to see everything!

The price is quite low, in my opinion. There is a lot to see and I found it very interesting. A beautiful building as well, and in the heart of the center.

Interesting historical perspective. The museum covers the Kingdom of Yugoslavia and Socialist Yugoslavia as well as the life of Josip Broz Tito. Tito's grave is located in one of the museum buildings. A lot of interesting information about Tito.

This is one of the most interesting museums I've been to. I especially like the experience of the VR glasses, and the fact that everything can be touched and photographed.

Located in a street behind the Parliament Building, a neighborhood yet to be touched by the urban renovation which is storming in Belgrade, there is this old garage, a humble and meaningful place where precious and beautiful cars are parked.
It looks like they don't want to brag, just sitting there unaware of there significance and charm.
A very pleasant place, just don't be in a hurry, enjoy and maybe after breathing the special atmosphere sit at the cafe for a nice Serbian coffee which will be kindly served with a delicious piece of pastry.

Loved this museum. It's far from being only post-related. There is a bunch of stuff related to communication, including old machines and vehicles. It's clear that this place doesn't receive a lot of attention, but it definitely deserves some love.

It's out of the center and in the middle of apartment blocks, so you get a taste for 'real Belgrade' streets. The museum is a lot larger than I expected! The rooms just kept going back and back. I was the *only* person there, which was heaven for me, as I was able to geek out on all the fascinating old machines... machines that, in part, I grew up with; it's hard to imagine the time when some of this old 'junk' was cutting age technology.

It made me think... there actually probably isn't a lot of this stuff still in existence. Offices around the world would have multitudes of these oversized giants, but as technology advanced, a lot of it went to the scrapyard and now there isn't a ton of it around. Stuff like this should be preserved exactly the same as any other dusty clay pot or doubloon you'd find in a history museum.
