What travellers are saying
- FunambulatorThe Rocks, Australia1,771 contributionsNice country setting on upper slopes of mountain range. Full body immersion in mud was a novel but cleansing experience. Very pleased to get into the second hot springs pool to thoroughly clean out. Once in though it was hard to extricate from the pool, very luxuriant and relaxing! We passed on the massage, happy with the $FJD30 each mud and rinse. Slightly concerning feature of the joint is no lockers for your belongings and valuables, you have leave your bags etc exposed on the front bench with no apparent safeguarding from the staff. Not a secure arrangement for visitors!Written 26 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Mark RNarellan, Australia30 contributionsBeautiful pictures and scenery, easy walk for able bodied people, the last bit to the top is very steep.
Place has a toilet on track.Written 11 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - pratikp927New York City, NY3 contributionsThis lounge has excellent service, great food, and a wonderful bar. Big screen TVs in the central area with lots of seating available as well. Also, big shout out to the bartender that night, Joseph, who made excellent cocktails and when it wasn't busy made me a cocktail based on the kind of flavor profiling I wanted (I asked for this when he wasn't busy!) which tasted great. He then even told me how he made it and I've been making it at home ever since! Thanks Joseph and the staff here!Written 19 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- TravelinSuzChandler, AZ943 contributionsThis is a good place to expose yourself to the local culture and see all the fruits and wares on sale. The locals are friendly.Written 26 April 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- travelingwithteaSpokane, WA10 contributionsAt the end of May 2022 I booked an all inclusive trip to Likuliku Island resort in Fiji through Costco Travel. They set up the flights & transfers, both from the airport to Port Denaru and from Port Denaru to the island itself, using Mamanuca Express as the high speed motorboat transport to the island. Being organized and not always convinced that digital is the only way to go, I printed off our itinerary and that was incredibly helpful as each operator needed to look us up. Since our flight from LAX arrived at 5:45 am, we arrived too early to the marina to change money. Vani at Mamanuca provided awesome customer service. As our boat needed to leave before we could change money, she took our money and said it would be delivered to us on the next boat that morning. My friend was a bit taken aback, but I knew that Vani had our back, as she has the determination of a woman who gets stuff sorted. Lo and behold, at 11 am that morning, Vani herself hand delivered our exchanged money to us at our resort. What amazing service. Thank you Vani!Written 22 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- ShivyViti Levu, Fiji136 contributionsI heard a lot about this place and was warned that the road is not safe. But we set on a cross country journey with my dad. Went through the Sigatoka Valley Road and came right from the Nausori Highlands Road. This is the road least traveled with no road signs hence recommended for 4 wheel drives. You just have to trust your navigation skills as the area does not have network at places and the villages are located were far away. We did had to stop and ask for directions in few villages. But it all was all worth it. The view from the Nausori highland is worth the travel. We spotted out 2 or 3 waterfalls but they were quite off the road. Be ware of the wild horses that just run upon seeing the vehicle. Worth a trip to see the interior of Vitilevu.Written 10 June 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Dean2906Newcastle, Australia79 contributionsDenarau Beach itself isn’t really a beach but more a bay, with that said if you visit this place expecting pristine white sand and turquoise colored water, you will be disappointed, however the view and scenery overlooking Denarau Beach is spectacular. We recently stayed at the Raddison Blu overlooking the Beach and watched some of the best sunsets ever and found this location similar to Maui at a 3rd of the cost.Written 16 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- SurfiegalMelbourne, Australia48 contributionsOur local guide took us to Tifajek Mud Pools and Hot Springs which is right next to the Sabeto one. They appear to be same thing and same priced - just run by different villages.
We enjoyed hearing the history, putting the mud on, letting it dry, then visiting 3 more spring pools after that. The change rooms are basic and showers coldish to rinse off any mud still under your bathers :)
We didn't try the optional massage. There's also a small trinket stall onsite. The road is not well signposted I'm and unsealed, so our driver asked locals along the way :)Written 27 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Grinch J5 contributionsDo yourself a favour and arrive at 5:30PM and go to the top floor of the Ramada Hotel and have a meal - a bottle of wine and a great sunset.
Amazing views - superb sunset location. Nice restaurant.
The beach itself is average at best and the water murky from the fine black sand.Written 7 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - HelenG724Adelaide, Australia191 contributionsWe visited this village when we called in with Blue Lagoon cruise. We were warmly welcomed and shown around the village by a local man. The school is impressive and we talked with one of the teachers who obviously enjoyed her work. There is presently construction work going on following the cyclone Winston two years ago.
The layout of the village is easy to negotiate and there is one main concrete path right through the village. We visited the church and the next day joined in the morning worship service. If you can, be there for the worship on Sundays at 10am. It was inspirational - all in the Fijian language and the choir was sensational, what wonderful harmony. What a pleasure to visit this village.Written 9 November 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Amber T5 contributionsOn time bus transfers to Denaru to catch the Malolo cat, friendly and easy check in. The transfer over to Plantation Island tajes around 50 minutes and is very comfortable.Written 7 April 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
