Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were so pleased we got to go on this tour. We booked late and was initially disappointed to see online booking indicated the tour was full. I messaged the company directly and they were only too willing to open the site for us to book. They also organised our transfer from Outrigger. Booking A+
The whole day did not disappoint. The boat, the food, the drink, the experience of seeing and snorkelling three beautiful areas of the Fijian islands. It was awesome day! Big shoutout to the crew who really make this a wonderful experience. Friendly, helpful and couldn’t do enough for you.
Highly recommend you go with CuisinFiji for a smaller group experience you won’t be disappointed in.

This was the absolute highlight of my partner and i’s trip to Fiji. The entire day was very well spent and great value for money… the music and vibes were amazing, the staff were so helpful, friendly & knowledgeable, the boat itself was very comfortable and there weren’t too many passengers, the snorkelling and aquatic life were simply stunning and the food was incredible. Only thing additional that I can say; remember to take some sunblock, however, the resulting tan was fantastic! I would and will recommend this trip to anyone going or thinking about going to Fiji.

I am so in love with my daily schedule, from work to all of the short holiday getaways; life is lovely when you choose to be joyful and optimistic every day!! 🫶

A magnificent trip out to Schooner Island, which is a 90-minute sail away, includes light morning and afternoon tea, a massive BBQ lunch, unlimited soft drinks, wines, beer, and guided snorkelling on the outer reef & followed by beach volleyball.🤩

This is one of the many islands I've visited in Fiji where I've felt so comfortable; the island itself provides the ideal opportunity for visitors to appreciate the tranquil atmosphere; it's so laidback that it brings out the best version of living in paradise!!

Majority of us are so sick of travelling on opulent yachts, catamarans, and other luxury vessels, but this trip was the best since I had the opportunity to board a schooner, which was an amazing experience & last but not the least What's even better is that the staff goes above and beyond to make your vacation unforgettable! 🫶💞

The South Sea Island Half Day Cruise offers a solid 4/5 star experience, boasting unlimited food and drinks amidst breathtaking views of pristine waters and vibrant marine life. However, a notable drawback was the snorkelling equipment hygiene, as it was only washed in what seemed to be a bucket of water between users... Despite this minor concern, the overall adventure was thrilling, making it an ideal choice for those seeking a memorable island getaway with ample refreshments and stunning scenery.

This is a lovely day trip for the younger traveller or people travelling in a group. It's not what I call the true Fijian island feel but it will suit many people who want to see what it's like away from the mainland.

Please take the opportunity to enjoy this trip. It is very close to Nadi. I was nervous about sailing and snorkelling. My partner wanted to do this trip. It was so worth it. The boat crew were 💯 supportive, kind, friendly and took care of everyone. We had food and drinks all day. It was so relaxing. The lunch on the Island was hot and delicious. As I was nervous I was given a life jacket for snorkelling and a guide helped me the whole time. This was my first time snorkelling and what an experience! To see the colourful fish, starfish and the seabed was incredible. You could also go out in a glass bottom boat and feed the fish. I feel like this has been one of the best experiences I have had while travelling thanks to the friendly and kind crew who played their guitars, sang to us, took care of us on the boat and, on the island and while participating in all of the optional activities. A perfect day out with lovely people :)

We enjoyed our time at Castaway Island. It's a nice resort far away from Nadi in the Mamanuca island group. The resort itself has a restaurant, gift shop, adult pool area (although families hang out there, which wasn't wonderful), and a kid pool area. The public/common areas of the resort is not that large.

Non-motorized water sports, like kayaks and paddle boards, are available, as well as snorkeling. There's not a large area to do these activities, given the busy water ways.

It's a beautiful island with beautiful views. You certainly get to escape Nadi and the busy port, but a downside is it feels like 2-3 hours of the 9 hour trip are spent on the ferry to/from Castaway Island from Denarau Island. Malamala Beach Club offered the same activities and amenities while only being 25 minutes from Denarau Island.

The staff on the island were friendly, but because it is an actual resort and we were on a day pass, it did feel a bit "Scarlet Letter" being the only ones wearing the colored wristband on the island.

All in all, not the worst place to visit, but there are closer, cheaper, and more relaxing islands, in our opinion.

The views are spectacular. The staff are wonderful and really made the whole night. They were friendly, welcoming & entertaining.

The main negative is the Captain Cook website which is terrible. The booking system is so bad we gave up & booked through Luxury Escapes. I think they’re probably losing business because of this.

The buffet was average but adequate. The views & staff make up for the other shortcomings. If you go expecting a 5 star meal & boat you will be disappointed, but if you want a nice sunset on the water with great staff, you’ll be happy.

Made use of the South sea cruises bula pass on our 9 day island hopping trip to the yasawas. Booked all our accomodation and activities indepentatly. The boat transfers were convienient, ran mostly on time and took the hassle out of moving around.  Transfer from the airport to the port and then from the port to our accomodation was included in the bula pass. Their check in area at port denaurau was a bit chaotic when we arrived. They could definetly do with more signage and staff to explain which queue customers shoudl be in.

The short trip was amazing. View was incredible. Pilot was great. Got to see a bit more as the wind conditions were favorable. Customer Service and communication was a bit lacking. We got more from the Skydive Fiji staff.

My wife and I had such an amazing experience with Sky Dive Fiji today. We're here in Fiji currently celebrating our honeymoon for two weeks and wanted sky diving to be the first stop when we arrived.

Communication was extremely easy with Sereana, who helped coordinate an 8am jump after we arrived in Nadi at 5:45am. We were greeted by Bola at the airport, who was prompt and friendly during our ride to the office.

We had awesome tandem instructors, Chris and CJ, who were both professional and knowledgeable which made both of us feel at ease.

Would highly recommend Sky Dive Fiji!

The cruise is marketed as a sightseeing tour of some Mamanuca Islands on a high speed catamaran lasting 2.45 to 3 hours. While the trip is comfortable enough with various spacious viewing deck options such as air con Captain lounge, mid deck seatings and sun deck, it is essentially a resort transfer cruise where people get drop off and pick up and you are there for the ride except you don’t get off at any of the islands, even for a short photo op. It is just a piggy back money spinner for them! You are better off spending the cost of FJD$129 (for an adult) on something else better value for money; plus you also get hit with a fuel surcharge of FJD$20 pp on check in at the counter. The other thing you should be aware of is that unless your accommodation is located in or near Nadi you will have to pay your own way to the Port Denarau Marina where the cruises leave from; as complimentary transfer will not be available. So if you are located on the Coral Coast, it can be an expensive logistical exercise to get there, particularly if say, you booked the 9 am cruise as it is a long drive to get there before the departure time!
