My girlfriend and I were not able to book the 4 day Classic Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, but we had the opportunity to do the short 2 day version. Therefore, the TERRA QUECHUA PERU team organised an excellent trek and we would like to thank them for all the support, the transfers, the drivers, the good accommodation in Aguas Calientes and our guide Edwar, who provided a fantastic service along the Inca Trail, arriving at the sun gate the view is spectacular, and our guide played his flute, he made me feel connected with Machupichu, and as we arrived at sunset time the view is very nice and there are not many people, and the next day we visited the Machupicchu Citadel and we also had the experience of doing the Huaynapicchu and to finish the vista dome train with show. Really incredible. I RECOMMEND IT!!!

We travelled with Terra Quechua Peru and it was spectacular, very well looked after, and the guide and driver were superb. We started very early with a super breakfast at Mollepata !!!! and then the hike. From the moment you set off on the hike, you enter a dreamlike landscape, where snow-capped mountains and green valleys surround you, creating a stunning backdrop for this adventure.
As you approach the lagoon, the fresh high mountain air envelops you, as you enter a meandering trail that takes you through pristine and unspoiled nature.
Finally, when you reach the Humantay Lagoon, you will be met with a spectacle of indescribable beauty. The shimmering turquoise water, fed by the thawing of the mountains, is in perfect harmony with the clear skies and snow-capped peaks that surround it. It is a moment of pure serenity and connection with nature, where you can sit and contemplate the majesty of this sacred place.

This was an adventure I will always remember thanks to Terra Quechua Peru. The entire trip was wonderfully facilitated. From our super knowledgeable and helpful guide, Gabriel, to the porters and chefs; all were very attentive to the needs of the group and willing to help in any way. Very impressed by their hard work and dedication to make the trip of a lifetime possible. The scenery we went through was absolutely breathtaking and we were completely immersed in the natural world, with minimal distractions from other groups or people in general.

I'm very grateful to Terra Quechua Peru and highly recommend this local company!

The organizers are extremely careful with the details. One of the things I liked the most was the places they reserved us for meals: we could eat local and clean delicious food. On top of that, we enjoyed excellent tour guides, such as Elvis for Machupicchu, or Hernán for the Lake Titicaca. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Cheers Waliki 💗.

An excellent tour, tiring but worth it. The company Terra Quechua Peru very professional and although we had a mishap in the pick up due to the complicated location of my hotel, the company resolved and was very responsible.the experience of reaching the top of the 7-color mountain, at 5,036 meters above sea level is wonderful. The hike takes place in a beautiful mountain scenery, llamas, vicuñas and beautiful local people with their traditional costumes, whose use still remain. The altitude and the constant change of weather (from sun to snow in seconds) require a great physical effort, but there are also horses that help in the journey.

My experience on the Inca Jungle with Terra Quechua Peru was absolutely amazing. I opted for this route to Machu Picchu looking for something more adventurous and was definitely not disappointed. Biking down from the high mountains into the jungle was exhilarating and the views were simply breathtaking. Walking through the jungle, crossing rivers and ziplining over trees added an extra dose of excitement.
The variety of activities made each day different and exciting. The guide's attention to detail was exceptional, providing detailed information about the history, flora and fauna of the region.
The arrival at Machu Picchu at the end of the trip was the perfect finale. After days of adventures, seeing the citadel was a thrilling moment and worth every step and effort.
I would recommend Inca Jungle to anyone looking for a unique experience that combines adventure with natural beauty and local culture.

There is a reason this is the number one tour operator in the Cusco region! I was so impressed with the hike and the attention to detail that myself and my daughter received.

Sergio was our mountain guide and was passionate about the pachamama (mother earth) and apus (mountains). I felt his passion for his country, the history, the people and the land. What more could you ask for in a guide? Well, he was also very attentive to our group and wanted to make sure we were all having a good time. When I had slight altitude sickness the first night (at the glass cabanas - 3900m), Sergio made sure I was OK and walked me through what to expect and how to get better. I woke up feeling great the next day.
As for the food, Marcos (head chef) and Fortunata (assistant chef), were better than I could imagine. They kept us well fed and there were always so many options of food to eat. Most meals there were 5-6 options to choose from.

Which hike was better? Salkantay or Inca? I am an avid backpacker (I've hiked in NZ, europe, Canada, USA) and I preferred the quietness of the Salkantay trek. The Peruvian Andes are so beautiful and it was a great experience to get close to glaciers and hear avalanches all evening long. I also enjoyed seeing the mountain culture and how the people are able to live at such high elevations.
The Inca trail was much busier but the Inca ruins along the trail are impressive and really set the tone for the ultimate ending at Machu Picchu. Sergio gave us great teaching about the ruins and the mountains along the way.

I would recommend this trip to anyone who wants to really enjoy two types of trips in one with the end goal of seeing Machu Picchu.

Dario was a very thoughtful and well explained guide on the 7 Lakes trail. He even helped provide some first aid support for a nosebleed, got them on a horse when they wanted to continue, and provided oxygen for them afterwards. He offered them a front seat in the car to make the ride back easier as well.

Went to the retreat for 3 days and 2 nights, opted for 2 ayahuasca and all ceremonies.
A taxi came for me in the city center, arriving to the destination shaman Amaru came to welcome me and presented retreat.
At the entrance you will be also welcome by several joyful dogs and in the garden you will meet 2 Lamas 🤩
We started first cleaning ceremony in the garden, as being very curios asked a lot of questions, with patience Amaru explained and lead ceremony. Liked a lot ceremony.
Afterwards had free time, Amaru told that i can walk outside, which i did, when leaving retreat all dogs came with me and stayed all around me, if any other dog was approaching me or barking on me, one of the dogs from retreat was going like to calm down and make my environment safe to continue my walk, i did 3 walks and all the time dogs came with me. Note that they are looking for cuddles 🤩
1st ayahuasca with shaman Chanan - i decided to take half of dose and after one hour took another half, effect was calm, harmonious, had visions after 2nd 0.5 dose, many types of pictures, no vomiting (i am a person who vomited 2 3 times in my life) processing and feeling very calm and slowly.
2nd ayahuasca with shaman Chanan was stronger comparing to first and i took 1 shot from first, effect was quite intense and overwhelming. Intentions are helping during those 4 hours, however aya bring everything which need to be healed, quite intense. I’ve seen that during that period my mind was processing vert fast, very deep and very intense, feeling a fear or blockage high intense but coming with solutions very fast and in this way i finished solving almost everything, started to roll them again and again as i finished everything important, remembering everything, no vomiting, however had some stomach things :)))
During both aya i liked that shaman singing Icarus, i like singing, helping my mind to process and understand, also from my research i understand that Icarus helping aya to dive better in your mind which actually i felt.
Next day i had other ceremonies which where a blessing after aya, one with flowers is the top top best ❤️
During those days shaman Amaru was always there to discuss, to explain, to help me with anything, idea is to ask and you will be helped.
After i left, Amaru still was helping me to digest the new things and feelings which came with ayahuasca and i am thankful for the help.
Overall i am very happy having this experience in this retreat, i have received all help needed and more than that, thanks to all shamans for great experience, patience and openness to help me in my journey.
Effects, feelings, end results are different from person to person as we all are so different and had and having different experiences, needs and aya gives you what you need not necessary what you want. What do you think you really need?

The 4 day / 3 night inca trail with Llama path was a magical experience. Marco (the guide) is one of the best I’ve come across in my travels - extremely passionate and knowledgable about anll of the archeological sites we visited and a great eye for wildlife along the way! At the same time with great humour and being attentive to all fitness levels and abilities in the group. Briefings were always thorough, and clear

Marco gave the best tips and advice on times to set off and what to see throughout the trail. It was truly magical being the first group to reach sungate on the final day.

I was blown away by the quality and amount of food (Chef Melchor and team) at every meal and snack. Especially catering for the many dietary requirements within the group (veggie, dairy-free and gluten free must have been quite the challenge).

My biggest thanks goes to the porters and wider team. Always making sure we’re warm, safe and comfortable along the way. Fully set-up tents and camp, welcoming with smiles, refreshments and accommodating our needs after long days hiking.

You will be well looked after on this trip!

What a day we had! We are immensely grateful for the exceptional day we had with Manuel as our guide. His precise timing ensured that we could fully immerse ourselves in the rich history of the sites. The tranquility of the locations and the stunning natural beauty left us in awe. We deeply appreciate Manuel’s willingness to share insights into the spiritual significance.
