Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Hanks M1 contributionChoosing Terra Quechua for the Ausangate Trek was the right decision. The organization and service were excellent, and the guides were true experts. We felt very well taken care of during the whole trip, which allowed us to enjoy the adventure to the fullest.
The scenery was out of this world, especially when we arrived at Abra de Palomani. The turquoise lagoons and snow-capped mountains left us speechless. The final bath in the hot springs of Pacchanta was the perfect way to end the trek.Written 17 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - soldevepNavarre, FL58 contributionsMy family and friends had a wonderful time at Piuray with Piuray Outdoor Center. Our day started with a wonderful gentleman picking us from our hotel. Our first activity was rowing on a Polynesian style canoe which was so much fun. We saw and learned about migratory birds to include the beautiful Chilean flamingo. My kids (6 & 8 ) enjoyed this activity very much and my husband and I had a wonderful upper body work out. After rowing, we came back to the shore and my husband and the kids tried archery. The girls (an 8 year old and 2 x 10 year old) were really into it. My boy got bored and started playing chess on the beautiful grounds next to the lake.
The food was truly incredible, some other families were waiting for pachamanca, a service I didn’t know was available. The buffet food we were served was exquisite specially the smoked trucha, trigoto, quinoa, queso fundido, local potatoes, plantains, perfectly cooked chicken and one alcoholic drink. After the food the kids got to meet, pet and feed Guinea pigs, donkeys, a friendly llama called Panchito, and pigs. It was a full day surrounded by amazing people and nature. We felt as if we were at a family reunion. Thank you guys for such a wonderful time. I can’t wait to come back!Written 31 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. He also made safety top priority. Our group was brought down 2, 3 and 4 class rapids, and I always felt safe. Frank is a very experienced white water rafting guide. The rafts and equipment are excellent. Frank’s whole team are just superb. Our group genuinely had such a fun time, and left with lots of pictures to remember the experience. We finished the day with the most amazingly delicious lunch! Definitely a highlight! Lupita Lodge is a farm to table family run restaurant. Frank even gave us a tour of their greenhouse located right on the property. I highly recommend booking rafting with this company! Just top notch!!Written 25 October 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Brandon H2 contributionsMade a last minute booking with Carlos, we were worried that we wouldn’t get the proper circuit for Machu Picchu because everything was last minute. But Carlos and his team made it happen. The tour was amazing, from the pick ups to the very end. Everything was so smooth and the team helped us every step of the way. Machu Picchu guide was amazing, informative and gave us tons of time for photos and to admire the scenery.
We did the 2 day tour(highly recommend this one) and the hotel they put us in was perfect. Our trip to Machu Picchu was amazing because of this group. Thank you!Written 9 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We did a city tour, valle sagrado and Machu Picchu, mountain biking and hiking to Montana de colores. Some of them in group and some of the private to have more flexibility!
Easiest trip I have ever planned! Our new friend Enrique Medina was incredible in helping out this together. Second trip for myself and first with wife and 11 year-old son. Couldn’t recommend these guys enough!Written 27 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - BK Family AdventuresOrlando, FL36 contributionsWe had a great time on the rafting adventure with our guides Cesar and Romel (and driver Jorge). The Class 3 rapids were just enough adrenaline and fun for me. We have done many whitewater rafting trips, and this one did not disappoint. After the rafting, we had a great lunch prepared by our guides and we did the river zipline. Our teenage boys loved it. Thanks for a fun tour!Written 2 December 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Sophie HAdelaide, Australia122 contributionsRecommended this agency through a friend. We organised several tours through them, including the city tour, sacred valley tour, and rainbow mountain. All of these tours were slightly more expensive than other retailers were offering, but we were confident in the quality. Each involved transport (which tended to be late), and food and guidance as advertised. Guides were generally of a high quality.
We also organised a private driver for the day, who was excellent, taking us to Moray and Maras, and stopping en route to show us views and take photos.

We have so many great photos and videos, we have never experienced such dedicated guides. Thank you for the amazing experience Omar and Elvio, it was perfect!
