Walking through the ancient streets, hiking up to stunning viewpoints, and meeting locals made this trip truly special. - Discover053083456791 contributionTrip and service was amazing. Guide was determined to always make sure we met our goals which I appreciated. Was my first time on dirt bike and was a little out of me league but they never made me feel like a burden. The rides had plenty of stops to take scenic photos in would of liked to slow down a little to soak up the views but it was definitely an adventure. Definitely recommend..... - Sofia s7 contributionsEduardo is the kindest and loveliest man you will meet in Peru! He helped me organise renting 2 E-bikes for my partner's birthday and helped us with delivery and collection also from the Sacred Valley. The bikes were excellent and we used them everyday (up steep mountains!). The cheapest and best quality bike rentals, definitely contact Eduardo! - Nathan R1 contributionI was planning to take a trip to Cusco for quite some time and it was in my bucket list and wanted to try and find a travel agency that can make this trip happen for me. I came across Coca life and it was the best thing that happened to me. Coming across this agency exceeded my expectations and gave me the most memorable trip I could ask for. Despite me not being native to the country they treated me as their own and showed me the culture and wonders of what Peru has. 10/10 I would recommend this agency over and over again. She recommended leaving early in the day for the tour to avoid crowds, and we’re so happy we did! She showed up on time and brought us to Moray, Maras, Ollantaytambo and Pisac. - Dave W4 contributionsWe chose Peru for our honeymoon and boy did it deliver. The trip was amazing. Based in Cusco we explored as much as we could with Machu Picchu being the main stand out attraction. Our two day trek was incredible. We were blessed with great weather and everything went to plan. We had the pleasure of meeting possibly the greatest tour guide I have ever experienced. From the moment he picked us up at our hotel to the moment he dropped us back, Victor ensured our trip was special. His passion in speaking of the history of this special place and the stories that accompanied it aswell as the clear love and pride he showed for his job really made it a special trip. He knew when to stop for a break and when to push us to keep going, he became our professional photographer and always knew when to talk and when to step back and enjoy the silence. - Brandon H2 contributionsMade a last minute booking with Carlos, we were worried that we wouldn’t get the proper circuit for Machu Picchu because everything was last minute. But Carlos and his team made it happen. The tour was amazing, from the pick ups to the very end. Everything was so smooth and the team helped us every step of the way. Machu Picchu guide was amazing, informative and gave us tons of time for photos and to admire the scenery.
We did the 2 day tour(highly recommend this one) and the hotel they put us in was perfect. Our trip to Machu Picchu was amazing because of this group. A friend and I back-backed the Salkantay trail to Machu Pichu with Percy back in June 2022. It spontaneously occurred to me (now in August 2024…) that I’d never written a review of our unbelievable adventure.
Percy is a proud Peruvian, with deep love and respect for his country, his people and Quechua roots. Knowledgeable about every aspect of Peru/Cusco and it’s people, Percy shared with us its rich history, his involvement with his community and his boundless knowledge of its natural landscape.
Just the way Percy introduced himself to us speaks volumes about the type of experience you can expect when working with Percy. The evening before our trek, Percy came to our AirBNB to answer any last minute questions, go through the itinerary, deliver gear and help us with packing. And when he arrived bright and early the next morning with a smile across his face, we were ready to go!
I can speak at length about the details of our trek, Percy’s remarkable breadth of knowledge, his ability to work within our religious dietary restrictions, the numerous people that knew and loved Percy along the trek, his tour of Machu Pichu, recommendations for the rest of our trip, sense of humor and so much more.
But in short, our trek with Percy was rigorous (which we explicitly asked for), fun and highly educational.
