My girlfriend and I were not able to book the 4 day Classic Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, but we had the opportunity to do the short 2 day version. Therefore, the TERRA QUECHUA PERU team organised an excellent trek and we would like to thank them for all the support, the transfers, the drivers, the good accommodation in Aguas Calientes and our guide Edwar, who provided a fantastic service along the Inca Trail, arriving at the sun gate the view is spectacular, and our guide played his flute, he made me feel connected with Machupichu, and as we arrived at sunset time the view is very nice and there are not many people, and the next day we visited the Machupicchu Citadel and we also had the experience of doing the Huaynapicchu and to finish the vista dome train with show. Really incredible. I RECOMMEND IT!!!

Laguna Humantay is a gem nestled above 4,200 meters, offering an awe-inspiring sight of turquoise waters set against rugged Andean beauty. The journey to this natural wonder is not for the faint-hearted, with a 6 km uphill trek and a 5 km descent that can be quite challenging. But those who undertake this adventure are rewarded with one of Peru’s most stunning landscapes. The excursion starts early and includes facilities at the mountain’s base, but it’s important to come prepared with sunscreen and layered clothing to adapt to changing temperatures. The effort to reach Laguna Humantay is a testament to the majestic allure of the Peruvian highlands, where every step brings you closer to nature’s masterpiece. It’s a highly recommended experience for those willing to embrace the trek.

Even tho if your not willing to walk you can rent a horse that will take you to a close point.

This was an adventure I will always remember thanks to Terra Quechua Peru. The entire trip was wonderfully facilitated. From our super knowledgeable and helpful guide, Gabriel, to the porters and chefs; all were very attentive to the needs of the group and willing to help in any way. Very impressed by their hard work and dedication to make the trip of a lifetime possible. The scenery we went through was absolutely breathtaking and we were completely immersed in the natural world, with minimal distractions from other groups or people in general.

I'm very grateful to Terra Quechua Peru and highly recommend this local company!

It's not a zoo. They keep these injured animals with an aim to release them back into the wild. The Condors were really majestic. They have around 11 and considering there are only around 150 left in the wild in Peru. They also have vicunas and the Andean Bear. I was also lucky to see a military macaw and a toucan ( rescued from a pet/ animal activity centre). For the animals they are planning to release on the wild, they keep them secluded which is a great idea. They also had the Andean bob cats. Overall small place, but if you love wildlife and interested in wildlife conservation, you should pay them a visit. This is very close to Pisaq/ Cusco and you need to keep 30 mins for this activity.

An excellent tour, tiring but worth it. The company Terra Quechua Peru very professional and although we had a mishap in the pick up due to the complicated location of my hotel, the company resolved and was very responsible.the experience of reaching the top of the 7-color mountain, at 5,036 meters above sea level is wonderful. The hike takes place in a beautiful mountain scenery, llamas, vicuñas and beautiful local people with their traditional costumes, whose use still remain. The altitude and the constant change of weather (from sun to snow in seconds) require a great physical effort, but there are also horses that help in the journey.

My experience on the Inca Jungle with Terra Quechua Peru was absolutely amazing. I opted for this route to Machu Picchu looking for something more adventurous and was definitely not disappointed. Biking down from the high mountains into the jungle was exhilarating and the views were simply breathtaking. Walking through the jungle, crossing rivers and ziplining over trees added an extra dose of excitement.
The variety of activities made each day different and exciting. The guide's attention to detail was exceptional, providing detailed information about the history, flora and fauna of the region.
The arrival at Machu Picchu at the end of the trip was the perfect finale. After days of adventures, seeing the citadel was a thrilling moment and worth every step and effort.
I would recommend Inca Jungle to anyone looking for a unique experience that combines adventure with natural beauty and local culture.

Went on 7 day tour of macchu Picchu Cusco and Lima with gate one travel, the tour guide Ron did a fantastic job, whoever you go with get a guide to explain everything and go to the highest point and work down. You will get awesome pictures. Trip was better than I expected. Plan properly and you will have a great time.

I just finished volunteering with Sonco Wasi in Cusco, Peru, for 10 days and enjoyed every second of it. The two projects they have operating, one supporting disadvantaged youth in the Sacred Valley and the other assisting youth with special needs in Cusco, are both fulfilling and fun! The organizers did a great job setting up our residence and getting us acquainted with the city. The most rewarding part of the experience was impacting the kids' lives in a positive way. Thank you Sonco Wasi!!

Indeed this is a meeting place for many tours, but it is also a nice spot to spend some time and people watch. It is bordered by an old church, San Francisco, a school, a Roman style arch, and has a nice fountain. It is about 5 minute walk from Plaza de Armas or Mercado de San Pedro so it is probably on your way touring Cusco and worth a look.

Felipe was my guide on a recently completed tour of the classic 4 day Inca Trail hike culminating in a visit to Machu Picchu. This trip had been a dream of mine for a long time, and Felipe was a phenomenal guide. I won't say the hike was easy, but I knew that in advance. Felipe provided me with so much support and encouragement, and I am embarrassed to say that he even provided me with his headlamp on the last day because mine didn't make it to my luggage bag. He is a wonderful guide that will tell you stories, make you laugh, and provide you with solid and comprehensive information during your trek. I wholeheartedly recommend Felipe for any excursion you might be planning in Peru.

This place is apparently not super popular on TripAdvisor, but it is a little hidden gem. It is definitely a ways outside of Cusco city, so you'll need a driver or taxi, but I recommend making it one of your stops if you're touring the Sacred Valley. Don't be expecting something huge like the San Diego zoo or something. It's just a little place on the side of the road, but it's cool.

All the animals are rescues that the zoo is taking care of or rehabilitating.

It was pretty cheap (15 Soles I think) and only took about 30 minutes to go through. They give you a guide to explain where the animals came from and how they ended up in the zoo. They have pumas, condors, bears, and a bunch of other animals. They let you get within feet of the condors and have them fly right over you.

    Definitely worth the stop!

Beautiful hike with amazing views of valleys, mountains, and glaciers. The Perolniyoc waterfall is incredible and highly recommended, also the view of the Sacred Valley and Veronica Mountain from Inti Punku is incredible.

During the entire route, we didn't see another person, which was beautiful and we enjoyed our walk thanks to Orange Nation Peru. Our guide Grober was exceptional and very knowledgeable about the place.
