    Good museum experience-audio guide recommended
    The explanations in English are good. They could make an English version of the 5 minute movie in the beginning. They have McReynolds few artifacts compared with the Larco museum in Lima but what they have is very fine. The lady in the front desk was very nice and courteous.

    Review of: Museo y Catacumbas Del Convento San Francisco de Asis Del Cusco
    Interesting
    I had a very good tour with a young girl practicing her English. The tour was very interesting and informative and I learnt of the history of the convent, the artworks and the catecombs. Well worth a visit.

    Review of: Museo Inka
    Complements well the museum of pre colombian art
    Like museum of pre colombian art, Musuem of the Incas is situated in a beautiful palace and its is important tool to understand better this amazing civilization. In addition to particularly beautiful ceramic pieces, there are some interesting paintings, especially those showing the conquest by Pizarro of the Incas. It is quite fascinating that a group of 200 Spanish soldiers could conquer a mighty empire but the real reason was that Incas treated other ethnic groups with disdain, almost like slaves so there were plenty of those who joined conquista to defeat the Incas. There are some interesting panels of all Inca emperors.

    Review of: Museo Historico Regional
    Free entry with the historical/cultural ticket
    Excellent introduction to pre-Incan civilisations, their development and their amalgamation under the Incas. It also gives some idea of their coalescence and subsequent subjugation by the Spanish colonisers. Finally, one is introduced to the mixed heritage heroes that ultimately led to the establishment of the Peruvian state in 1821. Some good displays and fine paintings. Unfortunately no photography in the exhibit areas in the museum. Part of the historical/cultural ticket. Well worth seeing, particularly in combination with the cathedral.

    Review of: Museo Quechua
    Quechua art and museum.
    I really liked everything very well organized, in general everything beautiful.
    You can also find many local works of art and textiles, which are excellent qualities. I bought some really nice wood carvings in a frame that describes the sights and daily activities of a local person.

    Museo de vida
    Very nice museum in historical part of Cusco. Ticket is only 8 soles for foreigners, half price for students. For locals only 2 soles
