Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This place is AWESOME!! It’s a MUST DO in Cusco.
Everything was so perfect. The staff speak excellent English. They provide blankets to keep you warm.
Anna Maria is a true delight. She’s funny, informative, intelligent and delightful. We truly enjoyed her teaching us about the stars.
Looking through the outdoor telescope was amazing! Getting to see the constellations was a treat.
The inside dome was also very informative and interesting.
We HIGHLY recommend this as a Things to Do in Cusco!

I felt so welcomed by Melisa and Carmen. They did not pressure me at all to make a sale and that made me feel more comfortable choosing my sweater. I even left when I felt I needed a night to decide and they didn't make me feel bad at all. I returned the next day to buy it and look at more. They were so gracious and lovely and it was so nice to shop in this store because of them.
Highly recommend! Excellent selection and they make shopping fun 🌸🌼🌹

The museum has art pieces from different periods of Peru and a lot of the collection are stunning. Most of the descriptions are quite detailed but some are repetitive and didn’t offer a lot of new information.

In the gold room, there’s a small section of the wall where the light went out. Wish they actually fixed it.

Also during the visit, there is some preparation for an event where workers were setting up metal framework to cover the courtyard, which closed off access to one of the first floor room and prevented people from going on the hallway on most of second floor.

Wow, what a splendid display of traditional weaving and beyond. Maximo was there and came to say hello to me. Made my day to speak to him about his weaving and learn about his techniques in weaving. If you love color and history pre Inca, this is the place to be. His imagination is endless. Each piece is a story and just so magical in the presentation of color and stitch detail.

We weren't sure what to expect but given the very fair ticket prices we decided to stop by on our last day in Cusco. It ended up being a short but extremely interesting visit. Worth a stop!

I went in here without a guide as I had free time. I wish I had a guide to help explain more about it. The architecture is superb and the crypts are something else, the smell really gives an ambience.

I wandered here on my own as I had a tour ticket that included it. I was there when it opened and have to say the staff were very pleasant indeed. I enjoyed the visit, with plenty in explanation in English.

The best part of this place is the large variety of coca products for sale in the gift shop. Good prices on them too.

Walking into this museum you can see the great patios from the old houses in Cusco. The tile work is amazing and the pieces donated by Mr. Orihuela Yabar are a great treasure for the Archdiocese of Cusco.
Walking in the rooms gives you an idea on how people used the artifacts and how the pictures decorated with gold leaf make the room extraordinary and beautiful.

I liked this place with some special art designs. Hilario's signature is long neck images with unusual breast placement. Worth a view if you are near by.

Very interesting history. This was purchased from the US in the 1800s and shipped with a statue of Geronimo on top. Seemed everyone though it was OK since it looked like a "native". It was not until later they replaced the statue. The statue is NOT of a specific person but rather a generic representation.

The staff are helpful and friendly and they seemed pleased that people were visiting. Lockers are provided for bags and cameras are permitted. We would have liked more about the Incas but the experience was very worthwhile.
