Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

There is a lot of interesting artwork in this church. It is very beautiful. We went to see the painting of the last supper with the roast quinea pig. The admission is 40 soles which was $10 US when we were there. It was probably worth that.

This was an interesting church. It was very pretty inside. You can take the steps to the tower and look out over the plaza. It is a great view. Admission is 12 soles or about $3 US. The view from the tower is worth it.

It's worth the short climb from the Plaza de Armas to the church to take in the sweeping views of the city. Many people said that the view of Cusco from Sacsayhuaman is the best, but I thought this was superior. You can see the square in more detail without being too far away. We happened to visit San Cristobal on the day of the Festival of St Rose, and we had a brilliant spot to enjoy the parade in the Plaza.
Unfortunately, because it was a festival day we couldn't go in the church, so I can't comment on the interior. The view alone is worth the climb though.

On the way to San Pedro Market, you will see this church. It is also a typical style in cusco. You may see local people as well as tourists too.

Stunningly beautiful. There is no where to look and see nothing amazing. Every inch is covered in a painting, icon, carving, etc. Simply exquisite. Moving and spiritual and beautiful and mesmerizing all at once.

As you walk around, there are quite a few different out codes in rooms to go into each decorated slightly different. Lots of use of both gold and silver photos are allowed inside the building.

70% of the priceless works of art were destroyed in the fire of September 16, 2016.
    Some restoration in progress.

Just down from our hotel this convent and church was open as we strolled past. Worth checking out as it has an interesting interior.
