Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We arrived at this site along a path from the Cristo statue as we had our own car. Once we crossed the bridge and entered the site we could see the ticket booth to the right and the restrooms. A guide approached us anchored we negotiated a price. We learned all about this amazing site. There are alpaca and llamas around ‘mowing’ the grass, which adds to the charm. The size of the stones at this site are just massive and it is mind blowing to think they moved them without modern machinery. Highly recommend having a guide when exploring the site.

As an art lover what I expected happened ! When I first looked at it the eclectism style with reliefs pushed me to travel more . I didn’t want to leave the facade of the building just because it kept me looking at it ! I recommend you all to visit !

There is a lot of interesting artwork in this church. It is very beautiful. We went to see the painting of the last supper with the roast quinea pig. The admission is 40 soles which was $10 US when we were there. It was probably worth that.

This was a very interesting site. The Spanish buildings were built on a native buildings which are now exposed and there is information about how they were built. Of all the sites we saw this was the only one that explained/showed this. Admission is 15 soles, less than $4 when we were there and is well worth that.

Great neighbourhood with lots of beautiful shops displaying artwork. Less busy than the central square. Be sure to walk to the viewpoint for a view of Cusco and the mountains that surround.

    Loved this.

The water on the stones was especially nice to see.

A pleasant stroll along the path to see the stones and at an easy pace - no hills which makes a difference.

Tipon is a great place to visit! The incredible Incan ruins are a must-see, and the stunning mountain views are breathtaking. The locals are friendly and welcoming, and the food is delicious. The activities available are varied, from walking and hiking to rafting and zip-lining. The accommodations are comfortable and reasonably priced, making it a great place for families to stay. We had a wonderful time exploring the ruins, trying the local cuisine, and taking advantage of the outdoor activities. We highly recommend Tipon to any family looking for a unique and exciting vacation destination.

The organizers are extremely careful with the details. One of the things I liked the most was the places they reserved us for meals: we could eat local and clean delicious food. On top of that, we enjoyed excellent tour guides, such as Elvis for Machupicchu, or Hernán for the Lake Titicaca. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Cheers Waliki 💗.

This was an interesting church. It was very pretty inside. You can take the steps to the tower and look out over the plaza. It is a great view. Admission is 12 soles or about $3 US. The view from the tower is worth it.

We weren't sure what to expect but given the very fair ticket prices we decided to stop by on our last day in Cusco. It ended up being a short but extremely interesting visit. Worth a stop!

Amazing history and artifacts on the Inca civilization. It gave me a better understanding of their origins. As well as Christianity. The art in here is spectacular.

This is an archaeological site near Cuzco, and is one of the largest Huacas (Holy Places). The Quechua name “Qenko” means labyrinth, and in ancient times it was believed that the place was built to invoke Kaypacha – a legendary snake who gives birth to life.

The Spanish actually named this place, but almost completely destroyed it, so its purpose is not known. It was believed to be a place where human sacrifices and mummification took place. What we saw was a complex of subterranean canals, passageways, and a semi-circular structure – pretty much in ruins. Some areas of the Canyon were very narrow, and we could only pass one at a time. We spent half an hour here.

It was nice, but skip it if you are short on time.

In the middle of Cusco you'll find this wall made by the Incas. You're walking and one side you have this old wall, all stones perfectly aligned. There's nothing else to do… just walk, see it and, touch it.

This church looks so ordinary from the outside but step inside and there is the most amazing backdrop to the Altar and a Pulpit carved completely out of one Andean Cedar tree. The sculpture work is unreal. You have to see it as no photos are allowed
