A thoroughly comprehensive and enjoyable experience of Cusco San Pedro market + learning to prepare Peruvian speciality dishes at the comfortable cooking studio that was both well designed and equipped. Mauricio was a marvellous teacher. Patient and attentive. And the dishes and drinks were excellent!

This was a great food tour! Harry was really pleasant and knowledgeable and was a pleasure to talk with. We hit spots that I otherwise would not have known about- and the food was delicious. Definitely worth it!

This Cuzco food tour was phenomenal! The rich Incan history, vibrant markets, and stunning cuisine were fascinating. Our guide gave in-depth insights that made everything so much more meaningful.

Omg.. I can go on, & on about this tour; & to think I contemplated on whether or not to book it... Thank goodness I did!!
My adult daughters, & I did the tour, & it was such a wonderful experience!
Our tour guide Christina was so patient, kind, friendly, & knowledgeable. We really weren't expecting to take so many stops.. In addition to learning more about Peruvian cuisine; at the end of the night, we were stuffed, lol
Please take this tour, & hopefully you'll get Christina... You won't regret it.

Wow, what an AMAZING tour! We only had Sunday available, so the team worked with us to schedule a private tour outside of their regular schedule. Guide Lizbet was absolutely wonderful and showed us so many spots and foods all around the city. We loved wandering the markets and street vendors tasting and learning all about Peruvian food culture. We tasted a great variety of foods, from tamales to fresh fruits, papas rellenas, drinks, and more. We also loved the great suggestions on what to buy to take home with us. They took great care to make sure that everything was safe and clean for our delicate American tummies. When they say come hungry, they mean it. We were absolutely stuffed! This tour will for sure be a major highlight of our trip to Peru.

Valentin and his team were excellent to work with from start to finish. I was having trouble hearing back from other companies when planning my family's trip to Peru, but Valentin's company was different. I visited their website and reached out to the team with some questions after I read all the great reviews on TripAdvisor. Lydia responded quickly and could answer all my questions and provide guidance on how to best plan my family's itinerary. Response times were always prompt and helpful.

We did the Lake Humantay, Rainbow Mountain, and Sacred Valley with Gourmet Lunch tours. Each of them was phenomenal. Time after time, everything was taken care of for us. Valentin was flexible and able to adjust to what we needed, such as picking us up from our hotel in the Sacred Valley and dropping us off at our new hotel in Cusco after we had hiked Rainbow Mountain.

Spending so much time with Valentin, Kenny, and Roger was so wonderful. We learned so much on our tours not only about the sites we were seeing, but also what life is like living in Peru. The Private Ollantaytambo, Pisac Ruins Tour with Farm Visit and Gourmet Picnic Lunch tour is a must-do. Valentin is so knowledgeable on the area and you can tell he is proud of where he comes from, and rightfully so. The food prepared by Roger was phenomenal. Everything tasted so fresh, and you could tell how much time and attention went into preparing the food. The view over the local farm was also gorgeous.

I cannot say enough good things about this company. I would not have booked through them without the reviews I saw that expressed the same opinion. Our trip would have been wildly different if we had gone with a different company, and I am so glad we went with Valentin's Pachamama Journeys.

This was absolutely one of the best day tours I've ever experienced. Our guide, Roland, was an outstanding companion and conversationalist, and a wealth of information about the areas we visited. We walked through a great local market, where we bought some food, which we brought to the home of a lovely woman and her young son. Not only was it touching and fascinating to learn about her life, but I was pleased that the company brought her groceries and approached the visit in a respectful manner. If you want to better understand a neighborhood that is rarely seen by tourists, you should definitely take this tour.
